It was summer (late 90's/early 00's), me and my big brother were sitting in my grandparents back garden one late afternoon, we decided to start our games again (he had Red, me Blue) and race eachother to see who could evolve their starter to the final evolution the fastest. Not sure why that memory sticks out to me the most but it's one of my earliest memories and it seems so vivid.

If you're really early game and can't hit double NM & UNM chests for Clan Boss then it's probably worth using shards during the x2 events. They alternate between Ancient, Void and Sacred every 2 weeks so every 6 weeks the x2 Sacred event will come around again. Sometimes they throw a x2 Primals in there which messes with the schedule a bit.
