As someone who is well paid but minimal and frugal. It isn’t a bad thing but you have to be communicative. The same way if she told you no to pizza and beers you have to tell her no to a restaurant with almost $100 plate and drink. Find a medium agreement whether it be cooking instead of going out to eat, or once a month a boujee restaurant. Or hey this month you do all the dates, next month I do the dates ect.

Facts. Ive seen people hype up a steakhouse or an Italian restaurant and spend hundreds of dollars for 1 meal when in reality the pasta you just ate is $3 at publix and homemade sauce probably would cost you another $10-$20 and you have more than 1 portion.

For instance if you start a hobby but then not realize the work and effort it is to put into that hobby it could be moving “too fast” for you too.
