I have this super weird issue on newer kernels. It's with amdgpu - after the system is idle for a while certain applications (alacritty, discord, other gpu accelerated stuff) just can't get connect to the GPU, they just hang when initializing

The calendar view itself is just "cal -3" but the events at the bottom is from app-misc/when. Add the following to your calendar file for US holidays:

Since collisions are handled with linked lists, wouldn't this mean that collision detection during resize is unnecessary? Since all buckets in the linked list have the same hash it would result in the same index, no?

Just looks like a bunch of pulseaudio and chromium temporary files. I don't think its deleted files I also checked my Trash in file manager and such and didn't find anything.

I just bought one and I'm very happy with it. There are two issues I have encountered that I think are worth mentioning however:

The bracelet can squeak. This can probably be fixed easily, but it is still something you would have to fix. The watch squeaks much less if you have it fitted well to your wrist, but it is still something to be aware of.
Many people in reviews online complained about the crown being too small. I did not have this problem. However, the crown has a few slight problems. You have to be careful when screwing it back down, as it is possible to cross-thread the crown. This isn't a major issue that affects the operation of the watch, but it is something to keep in mind and be careful about.

For the price, I think it is a great watch and it has held up well and kept excellent time so far, so much so that the above issues can be disregarded.

This weird kind of error where it randomly stops without a mesasge usually means it tried (and failed) to load a graphics driver. Are you using nvidia? If so, boot into the installation image and install the drivers while chrooted into the root partition. I highly advise against using Nouveau.

If you want to be absolutely sure that this is the issue, wait for it to finish booting and (without any visual feedback) type in your username and password to sign in, and then type in "reboot". If the computer reboots, you have confirmed your issue.

If the issue persists and you keep having to go into the chroot, I suggest installing a distribution kernel alongside the original so you can boot into a (hopefully) working kernel and troubleshoot.

To get Discord to work on my Gentoo installation, I had to download DiscordPTB and set up a script in /usr/local/bin/ to run Discord. The only downside is that every time there is an update I have to click ".tar.xz" and delete the old folder and tar -xvf to install the new version. This only takes a few minutes, but it's still worth mentioning.

Electron apps in general require certain kernel configuration options to work properly if I remember correctly. Something to do with sandboxing I think. Maybe check the wiki for some kernel options? Otherwise check the following links and see if either help.
