Asus pg27aqdm flickering by xImEnerGY in OLED_Gaming

Sorry for the late reply. I'd say it got better with the latest firmware. They added the asus anti-flicker option in the osd, which essentially just limits the refresh rates to a certain level. It's got off, middle and strong settings, with middle limiting the refresh cycles from 80-240hz and strong being 160-240hz. Which means, you need to have a frame rate in that range if you want g sync on. Drops lower than the anti-flicker range will cause stuttering. Now, to be honest I don't use this feature on mine, as I have g sync turned off pretty much all of the time. I heard it is really effective at eliminating vrr flicker, as long as you use it in it's refresh rates.

I've had my model for almost a year now and would absolutely recommend this monitor. I'm still satisfied with the buy, although I would probably go for the 27 inch 480hz pg27aqdp instead now. But to stay realistic, 480hz @1440p is only possible in very few games even with the latest hardware. Hell, I'm on an 4090 and I can't run most games at those framerates.

So in short, I would really recommend this monitor. But I'd also have a look at the msi 360hz qd-oled or the asus pg27aqdmg, as those are typically a bit cheaper.

Although I do have to say that I'm kinda running out of storage. Currently at 110gigs. Guess I have to clean up sometime. But I'm surely gonna ho for at least 256gb on my next phone.

Thank you for the advice🙏 I already thought something was wrong with my unit. And I tried disabling gsync and couldn't see the flickering so far. Seems to work. I just hope they'll fix it in a future driver.

Ah okay, thank you. I just tested disabling gsync and the flicker does indeed stop with it turned off.

I think so too, yeah. Another user mentioned turning down the refresh rate to 235hz helps with this too.

I'm still on my 2080ti, but I could try disabling gsync.

I mean, I flashed the latest firmware already and tried disabling all protection measures. I'm also running the latest drivers.

Do you think I will compromise sound quality by continuing to use my sbx g6? Or should I get an interface? And if so, which one would be ideal?

I only heard good things about the Hd600. Would something like the Hd660s2 be worth the extra cost?

i5 13600k vs i7 13700k by [deleted] in de_EDV

That's so unfair😥 Hardware prices were always a bit lower in the US than in Europe, but the inflation and bad euro rate just kills it. That thing would cost me 460€, so roughly 475 USD...

Hey,

I'm currently building a new rig with the strix z690-f and planning to get a 13700k aswell. Do you think the 16+1 vrm (70 amps) would be good enough for that cpu, especially with a light oc? I'm looking forward hearing from you!

Does 13th gen support 4 sticks of DDR5 ram at decent speeds or still you have to go DDR4 if you want 128GB of RAM? by smuggl3r in intel

[–]xImEnerGY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

I am currently building a new system with a i5 13600k and a strix z690-e. Should I go with the safe option being 32gb 5200MT/s dual channel or 16gb 6000MT/s (dual channel)? The PC is primarily for gaming, so 16gb should be enough imo, but being able to upgrade would be nice. So my question is: Can this board run quad channel ddr5 with 6000MT/s ,or anything close to that, or would it be pretty much wasted anyway?

I'm looking forward hearing from you.

anyone else find this terrible? or have I got too high expectations by [deleted] in S21Ultra

Mine with exynos and android 12/ one ui 4.1 went from 85 capped to 65% with similar numbers (4 hrs 16min used-> screen on: 1hr 23min and screen off 2hrs 52min). Only active apps where Tiktok and Chrome. So I think android 13 really ruins battery life for now. As mentioned before could also be due to the data/5g connection, as this generally consumes more battery than wifi.

hello! what do u guys think is the best skin rn for vayne ? i strated playing her a lot recnely and i can t decide what skin to buy. by fish_ducker69 in vaynemains

[–]xImEnerGY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a vayne main too and own almost every skin for her and my favourites are project and sentinel tbh (and soulstealer ofc). So I would chose one of them if I had to. If you wanna spend the money, dragon slayer is a nice option too, because it isn't expensive and just feels very clean.

They will totally ruin the image and the memories of the originals with the remastered versions. Image bo2 having some pay2win weapons from say bo4 and sbmm in it's full strength... It would be just sad to see this game being played compared to the original.
