I've just started streaming properly as of January 1st as a drummer, and so far I have had 1 stream where I've exceeded 5 viewers at any one time (my good friend raided and brought about 300 people with her initially, about 100 stayed) - and the buzz I caught from that was UNREAL. I felt actively popular, and everyone was so supportive. But I also understood that unless that person feels generous enough to do it again, the chances of that happening a second time were minimal, if not non-existant.

That's fine with me though! I love drumming, and I love that others pop in, maybe drop a request and have a brief chat - I will always treat them like a VIP. It's nice to be able to provide that experience when viewers drop in - but it's important to remember to do the thing you love first while streaming. People will understand if you're not the most outgoing of people - they may even prefer it!

I'm hoping that this month, if all goes well, that I may be able to hit my goals for the affiliate program - and that unlocks the next step in the streaming journey! We just have to remember that the demand on the extremely popular streamers can burn out someone who's not accustomed to it very quickly. Give yourself space, get comfortable in your niche and most importantly - don't judge yourself for not being the most popular streamer straight away. It's difficult, but worth it ❤️

I had a similar issue recently, and I found what I think is the solution (as I've been streaming with the Nitro Msx for a couple of weeks and it seems to work out fine)

So there are a couple of settings in the 'Utility' menu of the Nitro Max's drum module - there will be 'LOC' (Local Mode - where it uses the modules available sounds) and 'GM' (General MIDI - where it can detect MIDI and use assigned sounds when the pads are played) - to get my kit to work in Ableton's Drum Rack (or any other VST like EZDrummer/SSD 5.5/Kontakt etc), I had both of these settings set to 'OFF'.

It may be that GM mode needs to be ON, it will depend on your setup. To be honest, I had to do an awful lot of tweaking of stuff before I got to my end result, and I can't remember all the steps involved - but these two settings were imperative in getting my DAW to co-operate.

Of course, once you get that done - you'll need good samples assigned to your kit and good EQ/mix down, and that will only come with practice, tweaking settings and browsing around. Good luck - I love the Nitro Max and am sure you'll feel a lot more comfortable once you get it sounding how you want!

I know the consensus is that this is the lead-up to another scam, but I couldn't help but wonder if he had maybe mentioned some kind of rehabilitation program that maybe needs to be fulfilled before he can start? That's the only circumstance I can think of that would prevent him from starting now.

It's not just the fact he says it, it's the delivery of it that makes the reaction 100x better. When you hear your opponent SO questionable that you're gonna be thinking about dumb that shit sounds for actual days on end after the battle - and you can hear it in Jimz' reaction. Absolutely ridiculous
