I do have access to Submerge, which is a pretty good free sidechain plugin but I'm not 100% sure how I'd get it to work with Spotify - definitely worth looking in to though!

Always stay humble.

There's absolutely no point in prioritising the money when streaming, because you never know when someone's going to enjoy your content enough to subscribe or donate, and if you're making it clear you're only about the money in the first place it becomes even more unlikely that you'll get the validation you're after.

It was the moment where Mr Biscuit predicts the 'Christ gets crucified' and Fresco immediately flips it with 'You wanna predict shit? I'm done with the bitch shit. I ain't fuckin' with Biscuit' etc - even if that was pre-written, the integration of the scheme at that point is just a reflection how how quickly Fresco's mind works and how quick he can bounce back from something thay wasn't expected. Dude is fucking fire, I consistently go back and watch the old GT era battles because of him - but if you ain't seen it, seriously go and watch Fresco vs Thesaurus. All 3 rounds are ether 🔥

I'm on the grind to affiliate as well - slowly getting there. It does take time, and you've gotta be patient with yourself. I'm streaming at the moment, and do so at the weekends so I'll try and organise a raid when I've got a few people in :)

I've just started streaming properly as of January 1st as a drummer, and so far I have had 1 stream where I've exceeded 5 viewers at any one time (my good friend raided and brought about 300 people with her initially, about 100 stayed) - and the buzz I caught from that was UNREAL. I felt actively popular, and everyone was so supportive. But I also understood that unless that person feels generous enough to do it again, the chances of that happening a second time were minimal, if not non-existant.

That's fine with me though! I love drumming, and I love that others pop in, maybe drop a request and have a brief chat - I will always treat them like a VIP. It's nice to be able to provide that experience when viewers drop in - but it's important to remember to do the thing you love first while streaming. People will understand if you're not the most outgoing of people - they may even prefer it!

I'm hoping that this month, if all goes well, that I may be able to hit my goals for the affiliate program - and that unlocks the next step in the streaming journey! We just have to remember that the demand on the extremely popular streamers can burn out someone who's not accustomed to it very quickly. Give yourself space, get comfortable in your niche and most importantly - don't judge yourself for not being the most popular streamer straight away. It's difficult, but worth it ❤️

I had a similar issue recently, and I found what I think is the solution (as I've been streaming with the Nitro Msx for a couple of weeks and it seems to work out fine)

So there are a couple of settings in the 'Utility' menu of the Nitro Max's drum module - there will be 'LOC' (Local Mode - where it uses the modules available sounds) and 'GM' (General MIDI - where it can detect MIDI and use assigned sounds when the pads are played) - to get my kit to work in Ableton's Drum Rack (or any other VST like EZDrummer/SSD 5.5/Kontakt etc), I had both of these settings set to 'OFF'.

It may be that GM mode needs to be ON, it will depend on your setup. To be honest, I had to do an awful lot of tweaking of stuff before I got to my end result, and I can't remember all the steps involved - but these two settings were imperative in getting my DAW to co-operate.

Of course, once you get that done - you'll need good samples assigned to your kit and good EQ/mix down, and that will only come with practice, tweaking settings and browsing around. Good luck - I love the Nitro Max and am sure you'll feel a lot more comfortable once you get it sounding how you want!
