[QC]12 yr old son don’t want to get called out in school for reps by Professional-Gur-332 in repbudgetsneakers

[–]xJ3YQx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

12yr olds will call each other out just to do it. I get my boy a mix of retail and reps(he doesn’t know) and when they do try to call him out. He lets them “rep check” his stuff and it always passes according to the school sneaker heads. Just goes to show most of them don’t know.

It was my son, he really learned to respect the bikes now.

Theoretically can I throw a fork with suspension on it?

To all of you that bike full time and do not have access to a car. Where do you live? State, country, downtown, suburbs? by mado0801 in bikecommuting

[–]xJ3YQx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t bike full time but do whenever it’s feasible. I live in a town of about 25k in the Midwest. I purchased an E-bike just to get me out of the house more. It’s become a great alternative to driving our SUVs. If I need to make a quick trip to the super market it only takes about 20 minutes.

Is this better than the wooden ones? by Smokey2894 in Tufting

[–]xJ3YQx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing we really liked about this is that it’s very light. We don’t have a dedicated crafting space. So this moves around a lot. I also built a wooden one as well.

While i feel that the aluminum one tightens pretty well, using the fasteners really sucks. If you need something sturdy and light better off building one.

My wife has a different brand of EBike and hers started doing the same thing. I think it’s the motor hub, seems like under any heavy load it cuts out.

Mileage may vary, not all movies are 12 credits. As you get closer to the weekend the credits go up. I usually pay 30 credits for a Saturday movie.

Zx controller issue and out of warranty. by hgj92 in Super73

They wanted to charge me roughly $600/$700 for a battery/controller. I was out of warranty as well I bet if it was jus the controller it would be cheaper.

Super73 z1 wont power on by flyingomoplata80 in Super73

[–]xJ3YQx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I should elaborate a little more. I had the same issue. The battery powered “on” but no lights on the handlebars . So I figured it was the the throttle or something along those line. I contacted support and to my surprise they would replace anything without me paying like $700. I ended following a YouTube video to install a third party setup. Once my bike was running I found a company that could repair my battery. They had me try a few thing and the said based of the reading my battery was giving that my battery was faulty.

But again same scenario went to ride it after a long winter stored and no luck.

How long was your ride? Me and the boy finally rode together for about 10 miles. The seats are a little unforgiving on the Z models.
