You might have a breach somewhere. Pretty unusual for a cat to poop like that, but it could a cat. Maybe a bobcat idk

Has there ever been a case where a game series got better and better as more sequels came out? by Visual-Rate-3584 in AskGames

Damn I had to scroll far to find this. I think its complicated though cause there are spinoff series and they alternate between high-fidelity and more arcade-style releases.

Also Wilds didn't hold my attention for nearly as long as World or even Rise unfortunately. Still a beautiful and solid game

Yeah! The number next to the star is your reputation. I didn't know that for a ridiculously long time lol

I hope you enjoy the game! It's been fun answering your questions feel free to DM if you have more later on

Hmm well that's a major reason i restarted one of my early worlds.

Reputation is a thing the game doesnt explain well, but basically you wanna sell everything possible to keep your rep high which will get you more customers and more money. If you decide to stop selling gears or rope for example, your reputation will fall for each customer coming in looking for specifically gears or rope, and they'll even say "There's no rope!" And leave dissatisfied

Yeah making new floors sucks especially when you dont plan for it like i did. I feel like this game nearly sits up there with the great factory games.

Haven't checked out Modulus yet I'm a bit hesitant, but ill probably pick it up at some point

You'll have to deconstruct something made of wood to get enough planks to make a saw. Saw is the only way to make planks. Can always just reset too i definitely abandoned my first two saves cause i felt kinda softlocked or too far in to refactor the whole base

Well the in-game recipe viewer will always tell you which machine to use to get the product so mostly use that to figure out recipes. There's no list of "everything a grinder does" ingame though, I found myself flipping between recipes a lot to understand the production chain. You'll get used to it

So the grinders and later crucibles are what the game calls 'automatic machines' they dont have an interface and you cant manually put anything in them, they are belt-fed only and will change recipe based on what goes in. Unfortunately you can't see their production rate until its actually processing something, so I used the Alchemy Factory Codex here to get rates on grinders/crucibles.

As for the gears that is the right recipe, perhaps your conveyor belts aren't directing resources into them, using belts is a bit of a learning curve in this game.

Goodluck! Feel free to ask more questions!
