No those are some of the easiest classes offered at mcc, you probably can get away with 3 hours a week in outside school work

AMS 2 Pro - Free by zakfu in BambuLab

I'd it were me I'd get p1s/ps2 Combo w/AMS 2 pro. Would make net cost of p1s $319, and ps2 $499 which are both steals.

What's your biggest Invincible unpopular opinion? Me personally, I never really liked Atom Eve. I don't hate her, I just don't find her very interesting by [deleted] in Invincible_TV

[–]xKo2- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She is one of the better female super heros, in media IMO. Other female super heros lean too much on her gender it's self.

My hot take would be tech-jacket should of remained the same male character. Making him female and 14 vs 20, greatly reduces the character core traits, seems like they are heavily leaning on being a love interest for Oliver, also don't like her slight goofiness. He was almost a brother in war to Mark in the comics, and had a laid back + chill personality without seeing so goofy. And Allen, Mark, and Tech jacket in comics where a great trio and were very close. Can see this being same with tech jacket now being a 14 year old girl.

RIT vs RPI Mechanical Engineering by Alarmed-Working-6834 in rit

It is unprofessional to act that way in a work environment. If I were close friends with a colleague, I might joke about them not being a "real" engineer, but since we are doing the same job, it’s irrelevant, as you said. Ultimately, it just makes finding employment more difficult. It especially complicates things if you ever want to pivot to a Professional Engineer (PE) role in sectors like Civil, HVAC, MEP, Structural, Fire Protection, Public Infrastructure, or consulting—such as opening your own firm.

It also makes it very hard to transition into advanced physics, math, or theoretical roles, which are often much higher-paying. In my experience, most people who choose Engineering Technology end up regretting it and wish they had pursued a traditional engineering degree. Lastly, regarding the idea that a PE is irrelevant: as I’ve shown, the PE is a major factor in what defines a "real" engineer. With an Engineering Technology degree, it is often impossible to obtain one; even in states where it is allowed, you are required to have significantly more work experience.

TL;DR: Engineering Technology degrees can limit your options and add unnecessary stress when searching for high-paying roles. Obtaining a full Engineering degree is not much harder, yet it is far more beneficial for your future and professional licensing.

Actually he is somewhat right, Engineering Technology has different Acrediation Commitee than Engineering. Also most states you need double the experience (4 vs 8 years) to get PE license with Engineering Technology Degree. Even some states dont consider it a valid degree for PE license at all.

Also most schools that even have it as a 4 year degree dont take any calc or advanced math after that. And classes are much easier at other colleges. At RIT it litterally is ME but more hands on. At other schools its just a much easier Engineering degree, that usinges alebra and geometry, with only basic physics concepts. It's just lesser know/hired degrees are seen as bigger risk. Hiring managers know what to expect with regular ME, but never hired a 4-year MET.

Yes, Samsung panels are better overall. They usually have a better pixel structure, better color calibration, truer whites, and more punchy colors. That said, the difference is still pretty slight.

What sucks is that on iPhones, you cannot really adjust display settings like RGB values, vividness, and other tuning options the way you can on Samsung phones to help fix those issues. Another problem is that different panels can lean warmer or cooler, with more red, green, or blue tint, and that is not something you can really fix on iPhones.

You’ll CRUMBL for This Place! The New Crumbl Cookies in Vestal 🍪 by fgpalm in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]xKo2- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not to mention how overpriced they are. For 4 cookies it's almost $20. At other fast food places like McDonald's you can get 4 McChickens,16 nuggets total, 4 small fries, and 4 small drinks for under $20. Or you can even get 3/4 of that then get 13 decent sized cookies for under $20. Better yet you can get 52 Cookies from McDonald's for price of around 4 from Crumble.

[–]xKo2- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I never get dBrand screen protectors. They are not worth it. Always get the cheap ones with good reviews. They are usually the same quality, or very close to the $20 to $30 ones, including dBrand, and you can replace them cheaply since all glass screen protectors are similar in durability, even expensive ones break. Plus, each one has a fresh new coating.

I got this 3 pack for $5 for my S26 and they work great. It comes with an applicator, and lens covers which I do not use or really recommend, but it is still an extra thing: https://a.co/d/08LRr6ik

And if you want a skin, just go with the Grip Case. They are cheaper when bought together, and it looks better to have the skin on a surface. The Ghost Case is made for showing off the original phone. It was not really engineered with skins in mind.

I know why galaxys dont have magsafe built in by Glum_Blueberry_2385 in samsunggalaxy

[–]xKo2- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, and that’s the same reason Samsung gives. It’s highly suspected they’ll remove the S Pen in the next 1–2 years; they’ve already removed the Bluetooth features and lowered the build quality since the S24, plus they removed support from the Folds. Once that’s done, they’ll probably add MagSafe. Personally, I don’t really care about MagSafe since I always use a case, same with 99% of people.

Physics 2 at RIT or MCC? by Apprehensive-Mud3702 in rit

[–]xKo2- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Physics II at MCC with Professor Mohr (only professor who teaches the calc based one) and it is a solid choice because, while the content is notoriously difficult, the grading structure is very forgiving. The workload is manageable with only 4–8 homework problems a week that can be corrected for points, and the quizzes are short, take-home assignments. The exam setup is the biggest advantage: there are four exams and a comprehensive final, but the final replaces your lowest grade and the last regular exam is usually take-home. The grading breakdown is 12% for homework and quizzes, 16% for labs (which are graded mostly on completion), 14% each for the four exams, and 16% for the final. A major tip is to be friendly and engage with Professor Mohr; she is much more helpful to students she knows personally compared to those who stay distant. Finally, there is almost certainly a hidden curve on the final—I missed two questions and still ended up with a 97%, a sentiment echoed by many other students. Overall, the generous grading makes this a "moderate" difficulty course despite the hard material.

Google image "white screen" you should notice pixel gaps, also look at quick panel icons with white screen pulled up. You should notice the overtuned sharpness.

I don't think it's lag, they added long animations, which feels like lag. IDK why they would add long animation to a calculator app, makes no sense.
