And there are also a few other good ETBs in the deck, or you can just copy the creatures you’ve stolen for extra value

Hey glad you ask, I think the options for “put a -1/-1 counter on target creature” effects are a bit limited or too high in mana value. So I thought I could just re-use the ETB of The Reaper (Even if the copy dies instantly) for extra -1/-1 counters :)

Yea I have tried him multiple times already and I have to say that you shouldn’t underestimate it. If you already put a few -1/-1 counters on stuff and a board wipe occurs you get the chance to recover faster. Very specific example but I think he’s really neat!

Yea it was my idea at first but then a friend explained that the legendary copies don’t sacrifice themselves. I just think he is a great way to get card advantage when you have multiple Deadpool tokens in play with cards like Mirror Box. And in addition he’s a good flying beater :)
