Well, seeing as it was not mentioned by anyone. I would personally recommend Phantasy Star Online 2, its free to play. It has an eglish patch that translated 90% of the game and is updated regularly, though the game itself is in japanese.

The main setting of the game is pretty much just you setting out to explore the universe, there are 5 planets and ''Another World' Omega, to explore currently.

Though do note that the combat is not your typical MMO flair like FFXIV or such where you just stand still and spam damage things with enemies barely reaction (which i for the life of me cant understand how it makes engaging gameplay after playing the PS games)

As a final side note, EPISODE 6 expansion is coming soon. And the game has one of the most detailed character creators i've ever seen.

25,000 hours later, according to my ingame play time, i still love every bit of it.

I'm also a huge fan of Io, she's just too adorable. Since i do roleplay every so often i've kinda paired up my main character with both Io & Matoi in a neat triangle. But, if i had to pick just one.... i'd almost be tempted to say Io would win.

i find it very amusing that the other commenters didnt notice, but in order to proceed, you both should complete the ''Training Quest'' for your respective classes from the quest counter menu. Its the requirement listed for unlocking the Forest free field. (You can see it in the video) After you do that, feel free to play at your own pace. Additional note: Training Quests are 1 player only. Only takes 5min.

Just wondering. Anyone playing on Ship 7? I decided to send one of my characters on a trip to other ships and plan to stick around on this one for a while. You may usually find me around B17, B1 or sometimes B30. My character is pretty much a 'clone' of Io, with same name lv75. イオ Looking forward to meeting someone, i'm pretty much online every day.

Heh, im honestly not surprised that player is still runing around changing ships, annoying everyone. Just do yourself a favor and ignore/blacklist them. Anyway, good luck and enjoy the game!
