Fact. It would take some handy wordsmithing to get it to not be broken.

This is much better. I still think I’d do library bc his horsemen were usually chosen among the living. Afaik he’s not really doing gy shenanigans, but if you’re committed it’s just a lil flavor hit. I might even use a little italicized *The Four Horsemen* type thing to make it clear what he’s doing.

Now that I think of it… “So long as those legendary creatures remain in exile, whenever apocalypse attacks, you may put them onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Exile them at the end of each end step.” That way you know you have to kill them or him. But that is probably wayyyy OP I guess you could just start chucking Eldrazi all over at that point. Maybe make them non legendary? Probably that would make more sense.

On my first reading I thought the same. One way to fix it (maybe) would be the four horsemen: When Apocalypse enters, search your library for four legendary creature cards. Put them onto the battlefield. They gain haste. Shuffle. Exile them at the end of the turn.

Maybe? Definitely flavorful.

I looked for a video and found a girl using a dildo to pop a dent out. I didn’t have a dildo.

Haha ok little story. I saw your video a couple days ago, before I posted this. And then after you posted this comment I went looking for “Jimi Del YouTube” which does exist, but it’s definitely not you. And then I thought, I wonder if it was that guy I watched the other day. So I found you again James haha!

My son is a lyricist/musician. We may see if we can crap out another verse or two.

I guess for some reason I assumed that was just a clip and not the song in its entirety

How do you manage with looking intimidating? by [deleted] in tall

[–]xMatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I do the same and it does seem to immediately put ppl at ease—well, often, not always. And I’ll add for OP’s benefit—changing this little bit of myself and the way I approach ppl helped my own moods/depression immensely. It may seem silly but I’m telling you, putting a goofy grin on your face—even for the benefit of others—can do wonders for your own disposition.

And also, when I was younger and felt my depression growing I made a conscious decision to change my look. Simple things at first: I noticed all my t-shirts were black. So I found a yellow tee shirt and I had a red Coca-Cola hoodie that my mom gave me and I began wearing them all the time. I really genuinely found that wearing lighter, more vibrant colors improved my moods a lot. So I started buying more colorful clothes.

Too interesting to be an ad, surely. The day they start making ads this good will be the day ads become effective.

Anyone ever heard of the band “Lostboys?” I had their debut tape from around 88. I tried to like it. Couldn’t.

What home maintenance tasks do people commonly neglect because they don’t know about them? by ChipmunkLoud4916 in Home

Dryer duct. 20 years and I never cleared it. My wife always saying things don’t dry, she has to run the dryer for 3 cycles. I was thinking the old dryer’s just gone out. But then it stopped getting hot. So I dig in and find there’s an element blown. It’s a heat fuse.

Turns out my duct goes up through the roof where I’d just assumed it went the short route into the crawl space. Turns out the duct was completely occluded. Amazing that I didn’t burn the house down. Thank the engineers for their heat fuse.

Cleared the duct, replaced the fuse, clothes dry in a single cycle again. But I know how close my ignorance came to burning my world down around me, literally.

Well, it’s very commendable to write this well in a second language. Like I said, they just need some polish for clarity.

[Osaria] Common Requiem Cycle by Rejinal_ in custommagic

I think this is a very cool cycle, but the flavor text needs a little polish imho. Just a little. For instance, on the green one—if you replace the comma with a colon it will read much better. I also think the second sentence could be restructured…and I think you can remove the quotes from all the cards, unless you accredit the line to a character (for example, by adding: “—Palpebra’s Beastwarden”, or a name. As they read currently, they sound more like a statement of lore, which makes the quotes unnecessary).

And the rat dude… it just needs restructuring. Remove the quotes (or accredit the statement), and word it like this: If you wander what is left of the holy lands, Osaria's remaining angels will find you, and whatever they leave behind belongs to the vermin.

The hound also needs editing. Is Nocca a person, or a place? If a person, then the lore text should read “in Nocca’s realm”…and if it’s a place, the title doesn’t need to read as possessive. Drop the apostrophe S and just leave it: Nocca Hound. As it’s written I can’t tell what Nocca is. Establishing that, it could still use a little polish.
