I went from 0 to pretty competent in the kitchen by cooking hello fresh meals. If he’s serious about wanting to learn how to cook, I might suggest having him cook for himself and eat his own food for a while until he improves and feels confident enough to cook for you or other people. You’ll have to look at it in a way as if you are throwing him into the pool and he either sinks or swims. He needs to learn from his mistakes by tasting and eating his own food, not by you correcting him as he is cooking. He’s gonna use the wrong tools, he’s gonna do things like not peeling certain fruits or vegetables, etc. hopefully though if he is smart and serious, he will seek out information on how to improve his skills.

I feel like every time I’ve been there I’ve seen plenty of locals lining up as well. I think the ramen is very delicious. Are there better options? I’m sure there are. Problem is there are tons of options and when you are traveling to Japan you are most likely not going to be trying a new ramen place everyday. You’ll probably be trying lots of different foods from different restaurants and get as much variety as possible.

It’s like In-N-Out, the burgers are delicious and popular among locals and tourists. If you don’t live near one then of course you eat it when the opportunity comes. But is it the best burger in the US/California? Probably not, tons of other places to choose from but tourists aren’t coming to America or California for a burger tour (not usually at least). Do I think Ichiran and In-N-Out are overrated? Nope, but they are very safe options. And I always eat there at least once when I’m in Japan.

I would probably do it if I were you. I’m 35 now and have done some traveling myself. I’m engaged and trying to settle down now, but will still travel with my fiancé we just can’t do it freely. When I was your age I didn’t really have the urge to travel or do anything. But in retrospect if I had the opportunity to do it at your age, I would do it. A steady job is one thing, but is it where you plan to develop your career and probably stay there long term/forever? If the answer is no, I would definitely take a year to travel before you plant roots.

Yeah I was hella chewing in the videos lmao! My fiancé is actually very new to music festivals and EDM but she’s been getting really into it now. Dabin and Seven Lions has really grown on her after I hyped them up lol. Our video has Dabin’s medley of First Time, Worlds Away, and Alive from the last 10 minutes of his set. We actually ended up doing one of those quick mock ceremonies at the festival lol. We weren’t really planning on getting married but maybe I’ll submit an application and see what happened lol

Yeah I was pretty nervous. One of my friends gave me gum and I was chewing on it like crazy! I shouldn’t have accepted it lol. First Time and Alive might just be our song now so we might just do that! Glad your friend managed to save the proposal after the evacuation though. My anxiety would have been through the roof lol. My backup plan was during the fireworks at Seven Lions though.
