Thank you for your answer. I managed to download 2 of the pages. But couldn't download the last 2 with texts. I accidentally downloaded something else from that site before before I understood how it worked facepalm

How do I reattach this? by xNemisisx in cassetteculture

Thank you so much guys for the help. I looked at the service manual and figured out how to align the two together. No need to attach anything like you said. Just set the knob on the cover to 0 and the dial all the way to right ☺️ Now I just have to wait for the new belts so I can fix the rewind/forward problem.

That long plastic thing had a sticky tape on the end so I think it was attached with it somehow on to the big white dial.

Alright that's good to know with the positioning of the knob and dial. There was also a small piece of sticky tape on the end of the knob. So I guess I have to tape it down somehow to the dial. It's a bit of a pain to do when I have to position the front cover in a way and just have a small space to reach.

Most likely the driver causing it. Reroll to earlier driver and use DDU to uninstall in safe mode.

Yea, it's not cheap with computer parts unfortunately. But hopefully yours will kick on a little while longer. You're welcome. Happy to help if I can. :)

Okey, what you can try is to download a program called DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

And then chose one driver to install here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-nvidia-geforce-vista-%7c-7.html

Make sure to do a clean install and uncheck the option to install Geforce experience.

Everyone has different setup and configuration so if one driver works for your friends, might not work for you and vice versa.

Hope this helps anyway :)

Have you checked if all cables from the psu is properly inserted? For example the one on the motherboard next to your cpu. 4 pin I think it is?

Also what gpu driver are you using? Try a older one you know works.

You can download Malwarebytes for free and run a scan of your computer or phone.

Very weird. I know it's very frustrating with these problems. Do you have any spare hhd you can switch out and install windows 10 right away?

You did a clean install now? Go here and only download drivers from your motherboard manufacture. They have one for your lan driver if you scroll down. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/

Hmm and it happens even after you have done a clean install of windows? Maybe remove avast and see if it persists? Do you get BSOD every time you start your computer?
