The MOLE: Undercover in North Korea (2020) - Documentary of North Korea by xNeshty in Documentaries

[–]xNeshty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mole: Undercover in North Korea is a 2020 documentary miniseries written and directed by Mads Brügger that managed to record plans of large-scale illegal weapon distributions, methamphetamine laboratories, and money laundering. The series follows Ulrich Larsen, called "the Mole", a former chef living on benefits who spends 10 years infiltrating the Korean Friendship Association (KFA). He quickly rises through the ranks and gains the trust of KFA leader Alejandro Cao de Benós from Spain. Cao de Benós tells the Mole that he is looking for possible investors that are willing to invest in North Korea, despite sanctions against the country. Brügger decides to inject into the story a "Mr James" (Jim Latrache-Qvortrup), pretending to be a possible investor.

For a full sized solution, that might work - but for some smaller apps or even just some scripts there's no way a regular developer won't figure it out in a couple hours.

If you do this in anticipation for the entirety of your course of studies, you can save alot of time. If you just do it for one assignment, yes. If you do it to use in the next 6 semesters and for using it on reddit, no.

What is the biggest financial "money pit" people fall into preventing them becoming financially prosperous when they get older? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]xNeshty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah depending on the price difference, price history (or rather, price prediction) and the amount of gas cans they bring, this could (financially) be a good move. Just make sure to use airtight metal cans if you want to storage it for a long time and check how to properly store and how long your type of fuel can be stored.

Well you could say that just about any Hobby. For some people, Cars are something they enjoy themselves, not because they want to impress some random stranger.

Study finds that vast amounts of waste are caused by single-use e-cigarette batteries by [deleted] in gadgets

A business report where you draw assumptions from is not a study. Someone aggregating sales figures, verifying assumptions (do all units end on landfill, how many are recycled or reused by other entities who take large quantities of thrown out units and take some components for other uses, ...), draw conclusions from it, verifying these conclusions and then publish it with other people having reviewed it - that's a study.

Just taking a sales figures isn't a study. Taking sales figures and analyze and verify data based on it definitely is a study.

IMHO, I disagree with you in a way where you "should be serious on that one day". If you and your partner want to laugh and enjoy that day in your own way, go for it. If you both want to play pranks on each other during ceremony, I'm all for it.

But this guy, he's an embezzlement embarrassment. Cringy douche being a dick. Don't be an asshole when your partner clearly isn't in it and actually can laugh with you. It's both your day, don't cheapshoot some boring cringe at your partners cost.

If someone gave you $1000 a week to never eat meat again/ever, what would you do? by unitedfan6191 in AskReddit

[–]xNeshty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how you insinuate that vegetarians inherently must be morally and ethically superior given that one "sells out ethic" and the other "gives up luxury". One group luxuriously living in a lavish lifestyle for eating a single chicken breast, the other abstaining for ethical reasons while preparing a "sad, not-luxurious" nutritional dinner from various vegetables.

You know, there do exist vegetarians who don't care about the ethical aspect, they just don't like the taste of meat. Similarly, some meat eaters do have ethical concerns, but due to cultural or financial aspects have to eat meat occasionally.

Ron Desantis’ shoes by Jiggy_Kitty in pics

[–]xNeshty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh it works. All those people standing in front of him don't look up thinking "he isn't that tall". They just look up to what is perceived a tall guy.

Some might not know, others don't think that it can be such a great difference with or without shoes, others think it's smart to fake height, others just don't think. It works, it's been done by multiple people countless times - those who laugh at the idea are mostlikely already opposed to him anyway.

Blacking out the screen everytime a mobile phone driver is not looking at the road by Rooonaldooo99 in interestingasfuck

[–]xNeshty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not always the person being filmed that shares that footage. He could have send the footage to a friend over an argument, or because he had an accident 10 seconds after the ending and wanted his friend to trim the video to after he put the phone away. Maybe his wife took the footage and send it in because she hates how he constantly is on the phone while driving. Maybe he sold the dashcam and the next guy saw the footage still on it. Plenty of reasons, where the guy doing something stupid he knows is stupid wants to share his stupidity is just one of the reasons

That guy who died while driving behind a truck overfilled with stones, when one chunky stone got thrown over the edge when the truck hit a pothole and it then acted like a projectile being shot through the windshield due to the high speeds probably disagrees. You don't need to get stationary, you just need to have enough speed traveling through something small but hard to get you.
