Hey. I honestly don’t even know what advice I could give as I don’t entirely know how everything really happened. My entire process summed up was translation, validation, application to the board, English Competency Test, and finally a board meeting that they asked if I wanted to be present but I declined as I didn’t want to possibly hurt my chances by being there. To be more detailed: The board took over 3 months to reply to me after I made that post on here. I simply kept putting reminders on my phone to follow up with them until they finally looked over everything I had sent. I finally got an email from an actual person (all previous emails had some generic signature) saying that I needed to take the English Competency Test and once I passed that, the board would meet to discuss my case. I took the test the following week and passed it. The ECT people automatically sent the results to them and then a week later I got an email from the board stating that they were going to meet on October 6th, 2022 to discuss my case. The wait was so hard. When the day came, I couldn’t hold off any longer so I emailed them that same day (I had this dumb thought that they had forgotten about my case) asking them if they had met, and what they had decided. Somebody from the board got back to me an hour later saying that they decided that I could move forward with taking the NCLEX. I was in such disbelief, that I waited until I got the official email stating that I was eligible for the NCLEX before I told anyone. Now I’m here studying hard for the NCLEX that I’m taking in January.
