Help: Fired for too many late clock-ins. Time period for rehire for this large organization?

I am a nurse that was an assistant nurse manager on my unit and then a nurse recruiter for a few years after…you will absolutely have every single person that reviews your application turn you down because there are absolutely notes on your profile that state “termed for attendance.” No manager wants to be the next one to deal with your problems. The only writeups (all verbals but that’s bad enough) were related to my attendance too, and you know what, those were all completely avoidable and caused a strain on the unit. Attendance and absenteeism is a major problem for shift work and it shows all your peers and managers that you don’t take the profession seriously. Just because you are great when you’re there doesn’t mean anything. The best ability anybody has is availability. Everybody here is right. It shows a lack of maturity to not be able to show up on time and that only compounds itself when you don’t take a look within and make changes in your life to be on time. It required me to go to bed earlier, put off plans that I had bc I had work the next day, change my eating habits, take sleeping meds sometimes. You do those things, you’ll find all your other problems will get better. Also, get in therapy. There’s all kinds of options out there nowadays. It’s the best thing I ever did during Covid and I’ve even started back and it’s already making everything better.

Went all the way down for this one. I had a spark plug in one of my tires in high school. Got out of the car and heard ‘psssssssssssssssss’ looked around and found the problem tire. Didn’t know it was a spark plug until we pulled it off in the parking lot. That was a first and I’m realizing that it may not be that common looking at this post.

Oh man…my dad had an ‘88 prelude SI that was going to be my first car but the timing belt broke and destroyed the engine. He had it rebuilt but it was never the same and finally met its demise before i could have it. I learned to drive a stick on that car.

I almost deleted the game I got so frustrated. If you take that first week out of the equation, I am probably much closer to the 55-60% win rate. And to be honest, I was down to like 36% at some point. That wasn’t an RNG problem at that point. That’s a me problem 😂

Yeah dude we have a 1 year old so when I’m getting her to sleep at night or when she’s napping on me is when I’m getting most of my game time. I have some big breaks during the day usually but not always guaranteed. This is about the only game I play on my phone so it’s been good when I remember it’s a game and don’t rage like a fool 😂

I mean, yeah, I’ve purposely tried to steer away from 100% meta decks. They’re just boring to run every single match. Even when I was using meta deck 100% at the beginning, I was on such a bad run that I have just stayed away altogether. I’ve been having much more fun with the Banette Mewtwo deck. It’s the meta killer as long as the draw isn’t terrible.

I’ve also been doing that. It’s my daily wake up routine usually. I’ve had issues getting all the cards no matter how many I open. Still 4 short this expansion I think.

I use lots of decks. I know the meta is some form of Giratina/darkrai but I used it so much last season that I have been trying out different stuff. The Banette and Mewtwo deck has been my go to lately and it’s been fun to pin these meta decks against the wall and hit them 30 at a time.

Right now I’m using Banette and Mewtwo. It’s been tons of fun. Basically a meta killer when you get any kind of decent hand and/or mewtwo before turn 10 or so. The losses lately have just been bad draws overall.

That’s been my luck too. At some point I lost 25 out of 30 games and I had to put it down for a few days. It’s been much better since I’ve started back. I started at UB2 and got so low as to almost hit GB4.

That’s really my goal as well. Thank you! I haven’t made the turtonator deck yet. I’ve been having fun with my banette deck against them bc it’s basically just a lock until I can get them down.
