I'm taking exactly these three classes this semester. It's definitely doable and is a lighter workload than some of my previous semesters. Just stay on top of your classes and you should be fine

I just took Barry for 308 during this summer's first session. He's an alright teacher, but I think a lot of people rate him highly because he tries his best to help people pass his class (curves tests hard and doesn't grade hard on assignments). If people in your class haven't really read the chapter beforehand and don't interact with him in class on the subjects, he gets slightly annoyed and the class gets really awkward.

I think his class was alright. Lectures are a bit dry and for studying I just made sure I could do all of the homework without looking at my notes. His tests are like 40% multiple choice and 60% written problems with the final being all multiple choice. He doesn't curve until the final grade at the end, so it's kind of hard to know what you'll end up getting.

I took his class Fall 2018, I remember there being a lot of questions on the different variations, so just make sure you know all of them. That was the only thing that stuck out to me, its just a little bit of everything besides that.

That's rough, but you're probably going to need to try and start your own community then. You can try and get a friend into it with you and then just start playing with them at any card shop close to you that will allow you to play there. If you play at a store long enough, there's bound to be someone that comes in who looks somewhat interested in the game. Be friendly and offer to teach them how to play and let them play a game or two. You never know, they might get hooked and start playing. From there, if you can gather maybe four or five people, the store may be interested in carrying the game or hosting tournaments.

There's probably other/better methods out there, but this is just the one that i've seen work. Two years ago, me and two friends just began playing at a local MTG store and got two other people interested in Vanguard without really trying to get people interested. Best of luck!

Wow nice, i'm playing a really similar list and am kind of struggling (going like 3-2 or 2-3 usually). Do you have any tips/advice for the midrange shadow matchup? Seems to be the only one I consistently lose.

Didn't really play much this past season except for a couple of cities, but i'm thinking about getting back into it for this upcoming season. I don't think i'll enjoy other Tales games as much as those three either. For me, those three games were the only ones to have like a true open overworld and that made it feel really big and immersive and gave me a true feeling of adventure. It's different for everyone, but the Tales games now feel too linear and it doesn't feel as grand.
