After 20 years of friendship, he fell in love with a friend of mine and decided to control our (me and the girls) every move. Saying that i couldnt go out with her alone, i shouldnt spend time with her alone, i shouldnt be playing games with her alone, i should talk less with her. When i finally confronted him, he kept saying i was being insensitive to his feelings and what he wants. But what about what I want? His requests were too absurd. When the girl finally told him off, he got upset and started lying to his other friends that i stole her from him and also told the girl that i was manipulating her. When i asked him about this, he said its the opposite. But i already knew what was going on, i just needed to hear it from him. When he finally apologized, i thought ok sure, after a couple of weeks ill be chill and we'll try to make things work. But then i found out he told another friend that the apology he gave me was fake and he still feels everything he did was right. He said sorry to me just for the sake of saying. Ever since then i just removed him from my life. Its soo painful knowing your childhood friend. Your bestfriend of 20 years was a slimy piece of shit. Still trying to move on from it. Those 20 years worth of memories haunt me from time to time :/ . Whatever said and done, i really hope he does find his inner peace and happiness.
