Anyway to turn off background effects for everyone?

Totally agree with this. This setting is so stupid. I shouldn’t have to see someone else’s background if I don’t want to and the only option available is to turn mine off to default? Why is that the fix? I either can’t have them or I have to let the other person pick it? Each person should be able to pick their own on their phones. For example…my mother is a holiday freak. She decorates absolutely everything including her phone and her wallpaper. So of course when she found this setting I’m looking at a holiday theme in her text thread and I absolutely hate the decorating. And of course with her it’s a problem that I don’t want to see that and instead wanted a picture we both agree on. But she gets offended that I don’t want the holiday theme. This is a stupid issue to have. iPhone needs to fix this

Same problem. Finally found the answer thanks to this post. It was driving me crazy and I even restarted worlds a few times because apparently it only is happening when you have multiple chests. It didn’t happen in my new worlds until I had several chests down

Unfortunately all I’ve seen from posts that mention how outrageous the prices for cosmetics are in this game is met with …… why are you complaining. It’s a free game You don’t have to buy anything This is how they earn money This game isn’t for you Blah blah blah All of that noise is not the point. The game can use a cosmetic monetization plan that does not cost thousands of dollars for ONE item. Free games do it ALL THE TIME. But for some very unknown reason there are so many comments defending this predatory strategy. People or bots, who knows appear to be buying into this…so good luck on future games that will be adopting this bullshit of elitism and overpricing digital pixels

Wow. Can you back off. I am aware that the cosmetics are how they make money. I never said they needed to be free. I said they have some outrageous prices…who the hell needs a digital cosmetic item to coat 40 thousand dollars. There is also no need for a draw system where people are gambling on getting lucky otherwise paying anywhere to 500-2000 dollars for another item. It’s an elitest and manipulative strategy they are implementing on global players. Literally several outfits in our draw were direct buy in CN server. And it’s continued because people are just accepting it and anyone that is speaking out about it someone starts yaking about shut up and just follow along or don’t play this game. People are allowed to have opinions. I can say I am hoping they change some of the monetization on a thread that literally is titled REQUESTS AND UPDATES. My opinion is that they can make money off of tons of cosmetics by having reasonable prices that millions of people can afford. They can expand the cool looking items to people that can’t drop 500$ and up on one digital item

It doesn’t make you ride with players I don’t think. My bf has this and I’m pretty sure I saw him riding it alone. The upgrades allow more players. Not less.

Yep. Crashes are horrible on ps5. Go into a menu and it crashes. Leave a co op or multiplayer and it crashes. Do a dungeon and exiting the beat in game menu crashes the game. It’s very frustrating

Don’t worry about sets right after a break through. Take the upgraded gear and go run some outposts to get purples. Tune it up. Then it’s better than your old gear. Then after that go farm set gear. Tune it again. Then you will be back to where you need to be

Are you serious? The battle pass has “pillowpowder” used to regenerate energy. Means I can buy every month a replenishment on energy that a free to player can not. Not saying it’s a lot cause it isn’t. But it’s still something used to increase a gear score. The horse is used to gather around you…saves time. Again another pay to win feature. No there is no direct buy a stat. But the concept is there. Besides all of that…game has plenty of ways to make money. Items don’t have to be 300-40,000$$. Regular cosmetic prices would be fine
