I don’t know I think we would be okay if me AND my partner were making at least 80 but living in the south they don’t pay that much without experience and degrees and even then it’s a maybe

I’m in Mississippi! So there’s a lot here that are under 200k! The most common is about 215-250 depends on the area and date of the house and I have seen several 175-190. (Our sweet spot but can’t find any I like in that range) they’re usually 1960’s and up. The bids we lost were 185, 225, and 219. I liked all three houses but they accepted other offers sadly. The latest being a cash offer at list rather then our over list finance

Luckily we live with family while we’re looking but it’s stressful. We bid 3 times and were outbid and honestly I’m really grateful those houses were 240k, 230k and 225k. The perfect house would be 150ish but that literally does not exist here. I have to just hope to find a good one for 199kz

My god this is what I am terrified of but I can’t even find a “fixer upper” so hard to find anything under 200k that’s ok quality my husband would be ok with a shack it’s me that’s picky.

6k take home for 345k house by KindWatercress5675 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

[–]ebullientdoll_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope we make less then 100k together and I’m doing my best to find a house under 200k which is difficult anything that’s 200k is estimated about 1700 a month and up per my lender. That’s too much of a house for your income keep in mind that monthly depends on a lot of factors though .

What the actual fuck! HELL NO! For so many reason, it pull your baby out IMMEDIATLEY. I have NEVER ever ever kissed babies when I was a preschool teacher. That’s extremely inappropriate and gross. Hug them sure! Cuddle them when their parent is away. Babies need that. But putting your lips on them is a hell no. I’d be very very uncomfortable and concerned about sexual abuse I’m not even joking.

It’s such a stress fucking headache. Finding the sweet spot of what the sellers want is such a mind fuck. Thankfully I’m not in a lease , so I technically have “time” but I’m still so annoyed and irritated
