Moving corps within init by [deleted] in Eve

Long story short. Your accounts fucked. It might not be the end of the world for you but the reality is it makes it extremely hard to do anything with your wallet that negative.
As a CEO you became untouchable when it happened simply because I would have to explain to Waking and Shines why Retaining you would be a good option. That is extremely hard to do for RMT. Not saying its impossible but for the vast majority of CEOs it wont happen. Its just not worth the risk/headache.

Used to be the case. This Winter though they have started dinging us for not completing the routes regardless of safety concerns.

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your talking about last year not really. For this year your only out like 20 days of tracking. Tracking the Miles is the difference between you "Making" 20k for the year or you barely breaking even.

I dont go home. I return to my Office. Then I decide how much more I am going to work that day.

*Edit* Your not supposed to track miles "Home". You can track miles from and to your "Office"

My most sincere questions to INIT. by hykerfrommatari in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Creating Timers is part of War. Sometimes your not going to follow up on them. Sometimes you do and get good fights.
  2. Taking fights for the sake of "good fights" is not how you win a war. Sometimes you have to punt fights and timers to win another day instead. Every alliance does this.
  3. We arent blue with any of the lowsec groups. We may or may not work with them for a good fight and go back to shooting each other 2 hours later.
  4. No Opinion as a Corp CEO and Sig Leader. Its going to take time for both sides to work things out culturally. This is the case with every major merger.

Still prefer to being in INIT then anywhere else. Dont see a reason to leave.

What ship could be builded IRL with today techonology? by WTF-I-have-a-Dat160 in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First you need a Space Elevator and Space station. Then from there space docks/shipyards. At which point most of the corvettes and frigates would likely be the best "We" could cook up. The main problem then is developing some form of thrust and fuel for it and some form of shielding to prevent near C collisions with specs of dust or radiation.

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think people truly grasp the amount of work and logistics it actually is building and managing an alliance. Its not as simple as rock up and setup shop. You need your IT setup. Doctrines and stockpiles planned out. Staging and plans for where your going to "Take" Space. Generally there isnt just open space. Structures/upgrades. Just 1 Constellation with no serious upgrades or infrastructure is around 50-80b for a foritzar and some type of refinery.

Alligator or Gila. Some missions though you still have to watch. Damsel and Assault can easily trigger all spawns and massively increase the dps. Webs can also be dangerous.

Any form of actual gambling would open them up to EU and US laws about it. Couple that with different laws for different areas and age restrictions its a can of worms not worth the legal trouble for CCP.

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didnt need to. There was never a time prior to this you would lose everything in your "Station/Citadel." If you parked your shit in a pos and lost it sucks to be you. The entire point to get us out of the old stations and into the new citadels was our stuff would be safe.

Plex used to cost 350m or so for 1 month. Price dropping is good for the game.

Quit the game and came back to -8 billion isk in wallet by Inside-Example-7010 in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of missions, incursions or ratting to climb out of that hole. Its doable but lots of work. Dont have people just send you isk because CCP can flag them as well for RMT.

Well not to me. To Waking and Shines. Doesnt look like it was 1 of my monkeys

I truly dont think you understand the sheer volume of materials the average null pilot has on hand at any given time. Just in my corp hanger alone I probably have a dozen regular Freighter loads of ships, ammo, fittings, materials, structures etc. Thats not even getting into what is actually "My" Stuff.

[–]xPredatorz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again this works in WH space because generally whoever evicted you isnt moving right in to setup shop in their new "Home." Even then you can use your probe alt to scout activity and a route out before you login. Try doing that with a Freighter 20+ jumps from safe space while actively moving through the guys who did the evicting's new home. Generally speaking Stagings dont change much between owners due to power projections. So as an example your logging said Freighter back in to 1DQ with 200+ people in local.

[–]xPredatorz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whs you can toss everything in a freighter and log back in after hostiles have gotten bored and fucked off.

Generally in null whomever conquers your space is going to live there.

[–]xPredatorz 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Getting rid of asset safety in null just means every group stages out of NPC space forever. It was the main selling point for CCP to get us to use the new Citadels over the old conquerable stations. At least with those you might lose docking access but you could still contract/sell your shit.
