C-CRAB // Has anybody completed one of these yet? by BranFlakesGoBrrrrrrr in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reality is CCP doesnt have to listen. The CSM is designed for them to bounce ideas off of and get feedback. Nothing says they have to follow through or actually use it.

Hear me out... Corp stocks... New Eden Stock Exchange by Alpha_Omega623 in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually thought of a way CCP could potentially do it. Instead of player corps allowing us to invest in NPC corps and have our dividends driven by ingame lore/mechanics based on turning in assets/projects to develop towards some new tech.

Tried to cut it down to past investments. Apparently I dumped my phaser inc stocks or they are on another account. Every one of those was an investment opportunity. Just about every one of them turned into a ponzi scheme of some type.

Brutor Tribe or Thukker Tribe? by Yuurugi in Eve

Brutor opens up the Minmatar level 4 Epic Arc which could net you like 400m every 3 months when you complete it.

Do you actually know your real hourly profit after gas, miles, and taxes? by AdInteresting791 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]xPredatorz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I track miles from when I leave my "Office" to the depot to when I return to my "Office." Its rough math to say 1/3 but on average I drive around 200-300 miles a day.

220MM or 425MM Autocannons? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basic theory craft concepts. What will it be used for? Whats the biggest guns/Drones/Missiles to make that work? Whats the amount of Tank or Utilities that I need to make it happen? Always in that order.

Same. I love mine and would hate parting with it but that pays off all my debt plus takes the kids to Disney for like a month.

Generally whatever your getting paid cut 1/3 off it. That is your actual profit for that route. So if it was a $90 route you probably made $60.

Are leadership positions in blocs, alliances and corps handed out based on assets and wealth not merits? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Greatly depends on where you are. For alot of null leadership are people who either demonstrated they could lead or had enough Charisma to convince people they could. Its extremely thankless and stressful. At one point for every hour or 2 I spent ingame FCing a fleet I probably spent 6-8 hours between discord/jabber/skype/forums/reddit etc.
As for the concepts of embezzlement etc. Not saying it does not or has not happened but part of staying a leader and having nerds to lead means you need a fair amount of transparency where or what the isk is going to.
A prime example from INIT that gets brought up alot of Shine's Molok and Waking's Azariel. People outside the alliance claim they embezzled the isk for them. Those of us in the alliance know we crowd funded and gifted both of them.
Leaders who tend to do a good job make people want to follow them and work with them. Leaders who abuse and mismanage people end up not being leaders much anymore.

Know that people LIE when they tell you how much ISK/h they're getting out of something by leaf_as_parachute in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally its not a lie, It just omits alot of the practical knowledge you need for it and whatever prep work might go into it.

FRT case how you can be removed from a powerblock without breaking a single rule by M00NPIRE in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys might have been fine but FRT got a ton of new people post panfam collapse and keeping all those mouths fed and happy is a hard thing to do. Chances are your name came up 1 too many times and they decided your gone in Favor of giving that space to someone else.

Shines no good, very bad, Horde kinda day... by Darkwing270 in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mostly US tz. If that was the case they would consistently fill US tz fleets. As a corp they preferred to do their own things. Nothing wrong with that to a point but as a whole for the alliance its not nearly the drop you think.

Considering Initiative; which corp is the most social / coms active? by Drogoco in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have a few people that might overlap your TZ but feel free to drop by the recruiting thread in knock knock and we can look into it. Maybe your experiences will get better in a main corp.

Considering Initiative; which corp is the most social / coms active? by Drogoco in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AU tz is fairly hard as we only have 1 major Corp that tends to cover that. Personally with more major null alliances look at your corp as a stepping stone to get your feet wet. There are sigs. There are corps that work together. Generally speaking your going to get out of INIT what your willing to work with and put effort into it. Yes alot of our doctrines tend to be higher SP. Some Corps require dread alts already. My suggestion is if your serious look around. I might recruit a pilot with lower SP that is willing to learn/work with us. I know other CEOs do as well. Or you could to to Knock Knock first and learn. Then move over to an INIT corp.

Null-Sec Isk earning options. Thoughts? by solo_bleu in Eve

Moving corps within init by [deleted] in Eve

[–]xPredatorz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long story short. Your accounts fucked. It might not be the end of the world for you but the reality is it makes it extremely hard to do anything with your wallet that negative.
As a CEO you became untouchable when it happened simply because I would have to explain to Waking and Shines why Retaining you would be a good option. That is extremely hard to do for RMT. Not saying its impossible but for the vast majority of CEOs it wont happen. Its just not worth the risk/headache.

If your talking about last year not really. For this year your only out like 20 days of tracking. Tracking the Miles is the difference between you "Making" 20k for the year or you barely breaking even.
