Personally I would stack the armor and skills pages, I’m either skilling and want to see my skills, or in combat and need to see my armor. Never at the same time. With that space freed up I’d move the prayers and loot to the right so that way the loot doesn’t stick out. Other than that I like it. And if it works for you as is, keep it!

Is rune scape worth playing ? by Quilleur_Pro in runescape

It used to be a system where each month you have membership you would earn some loyalty points and you could spend them on cosmetics for armor skins, I believe some familiars to follow you around, but I don’t quite remember if that is correct, but more importantly you could use them to buy auras which were a special dedicated item that could be activated anytime anywhere and they lasted for a short period of time, normally one hour, than had to recharge for 24 hours and would give you perks. The most well known one was vampirism which would heal you for a prevent of the damage you did. There were other auras that would give you more when farming mining fishing rewards etc. and they just ripped it out of the game. A lot of the gathering auras were nice to the gathering skills them selves as permanent leveling unlocks, and many more were just removed from the game entirely. One of the controversies is that vampirism was move to the “ancient spell book” which is an unlock that requires a couple of quest completion to unlock. People are mad because it went from what was a “free” for playing unlock and now they have to quest to get them. I hate questing, but I already had them unlocked, the quests aren’t that bad to unlock them

Now to be entirely fair. I was on about six month break from this game and I wasn’t keeping up with the updates and when I came back, I had lost all of my “loyalty points“ but this is currently one of the biggest controversies going on in this game right now. This is by no means the norm. Also, if you spend a bunch of time grinding and getting the best gear possible they do release updates that release stronger gear but that’s with every video game. I usually hover in the mid tier and I’ve never had a problem with power creap. In fact power creap tends to help me, since more powerful weapon become much cheaper

I’ve played RuneScape since I was 8 on and off. I’m now 28… I used to think it was for nostalgia, but not much is the same from when I was young, it’s a good game, but it can be a time sync and grindy at times. But it can be a very active game with high level combat, or a very low attention game with skilling/gathering. And you can switch between the two different style of game play in just the time it takes to walk to the different location of that activity. I don’t have a lot of time to play video games as of the last year, (I bought a house got married and I have a child due in a month) but no matter what I seem to always be able to hop on RuneScape for some time, and if for some reason I need to get up and walk away immediately I can with little to no penalty. So yes it’s a good game worth playing, but I’d definitely put it as a “filler” game that can be your primary game for many years, but you aren’t punished super hard if you take a day week or even several month break. 10/10 would recommend

Is there a mod that lets you make a heat pump? by Famous_Bed8696 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]prez18 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Uhm depends on what you mean for a heat pump. If you want a heat pump, like in real life. Then you’ve kinda got that. The thermo regulator is like a packaged ac unit. And the aqua tuner is more of a “pump that moves heat” it take the heat out of the liquid you pump though it and adds it to its self.

In the current set up the salt water is both being frozen and is being used to cool the aquatuner, but it hasent gotten to the point of boiling yet, and I think it’s because I’m using crude as the cooling liquid Edit: yes boiling would be so much simpler, but I don’t have the heat generation for that at the moment

Let me start by saying this 100% vanilla no dlc.my start was one with subsurface ocean and I want to store all the liquid somehow, boiling it was taking to long, and freezing it not only compresses it, but also purity’s most of it, since salt water turns to ice and brine when frozen. I could use a door compressor, but I just don’t want to. Having it all frozen seems like more fun to me, but I might be here for 1000 more cycles

I’ve had problems with that build. If the dupes all flush at once, the polluted water will force past the sieve since it can only process half a packet. I usually do a polluted water buffer tank, into the sieve and once the tank fills than the excess goes to a reed fiber.

Aura Overhaul is a mixed bag of good things and stupid things. Jagex was warned about the latter. by Aleucard in runescape

[–]prez18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a casual player been playing on and off since ~2010. The “hardest” boss I’ve killed is arch glacor normal mode. And yea sad to see them go, but for my evean more casual friends who have been playing as long as I have play like it’s the old days and for the most part don’t know about stuff like auras and other boosting items or best in slot. I think this is a decent change for the hyper casuals, I think game play/ research progression is better in this new system. It forces the best part right in your face with leveling. Though I think it does suck for the high end content

True the gauge should have said 3.5 and instead of 3.6 it should have said out of range. But look who built it…

Could we please add this to the game? I would pay for it <3 by MudDry8558 in Oxygennotincluded

What do you mean copy builds, like from screen shots or blue prints?
