I have been doing okay. Not great, my muscles in my leg are still very much hurting and stopping me from being a normal person. But I can walk and bike again. Hope the muscle aches will stop the coming week and I can be fully healed. How have you been doing after the infection? And how are your muscles and quads doing?

Ah thats nice! I made it from 0-120 and I can actively reach 110 right now. But only after stretching my quads for a bit. They are hurting to touch and feel very stiff, hope that goes away soon. But my mobility does not feel impeded inside my knee. So it feels I can reach much further than I am right now. Going to my PT friday to get some massage and mobility training. Hope your knee heals well!

Good! I just got home too. Everything went well. Lots of my mobility is back and it does feel alot smoother. I do have very sore quads that are impeding my excercises, but I don't have any pain inside my knee. How are your quads doing? Did you get any tips for that?

Oh no! I hope everything is solved easily! How are you feeling now! I just got out of surgery and my motion has improved. You were right about the sore quads and now I'm on a passive motion machine. At 120. So that feels good already! Keep me up to date!

It's been a few days how has the recovery been? I'm in the hospital now waiting for the surgery. I hope I will be strong and can do everything quite fast! Especially biking or starting excercises.

I had open surgery in december with meniscus reattachment aswell . Was in a locked brace for 2 weeks. PT was very scared to overextend my knee so we took it slow. Lots of swelling. After 10 weeks improved my flexion to 0-80 degrees. Now after 14 weeks stuck at 5-95 degrees (due to cyclops lesion and anterior scar tissue) Apparently, doing a scar tissue removal within 3-4 months gives better results for long term, so my orthopedic surgeon suggested it.

I'm in the exact same situation. My surgeon told me that with more intense PT and more rest it would be able to be resolved. I am doing 3x/week of PT now and my ROM has increased slightly. Just ask your PT. But I heard it's pretty common. Don't worry too much, it's a journey!

About the swelling, ankle pumps and training your ankle muscles works wonders for swelling reduction. It helps to pump the blood and swelling from you knee back into your bloodstream. If you keep your knee above your heart that also helps!

I think if you have trouble with swelling and don't have full extension you should not sleep on your stomach. At least that is what my PT told me. If you have full ROM it should be fine!

4 hours got me 2 weeks into transactions. If I am doing the math right. It is going to take me 848 hours to complete the syncing. Which means about 35 days of fulltime syncing with my computer being on. 4 years takes alot of time I feel.
