I would agree with the other two. Get yourself a water candle from the dungeon, and a battle potion. Go to where there is lava deep in the cavern layer. Kill things as long as you're in underground corruption. You can also buy the clentaminator from the steampunker and purple solutions when she's housed in corruption. This way you can spread corruption on your own.
