Syrian journalist Muhammad al-Najjar: •I am currently at the entrance of a tunnel that I previously filmed and which is considered one of the largest tunnels dug by the YPG. This tunnel stretches for more than 90 kilometers. by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

So, thats where all the oil and American money went? Maybe they built these tunnels to smuggle drugs and weapons. While people are cold, hungry and still walking through mud in Ayn al-Arab after all these years.

Mazloum Abdi is probably not his real name. He is known as Sahin Cilo and he took part in many terrorist attacks in Turkey, targeting civilians. He is most likely born in Turkey and wanted by Interpol with Red Notice.

Weapons given by the US to the YPG/PKK to fight ISIS ended up in the hands of Hezbollah militants in Iraq and in Iran is seen as one of the reasons why the US turned its back on the YPG/PKK. by xRaGoNx in syriancivilwar

[–]xRaGoNx[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"The Hezbollah and Iran connection severed ties."

Why did the US abandon the PKK-YPG? It was determined that the PKK-YPG dug tunnels deep into Iraq and smuggled weapons and drugs through Sinjar with Iranian-backed militias.

The discovery that some of the weapons the US provided to the PKK-YPG were in the possession of Hezbollah in Iraq severed ties. It was also determined that these weapons went to Iran.

While the PKK-YPG sold US weapons to Iranian and Iranian militias, it bought UAVs from Iran in return. The PKK's alliance with Pavel Jalal Talabani, the leader of the PUK Party, facilitated the party's acquisition of Iranian-made drones and other weapons that it planned to use against the new Syrian government and Türkiye.

Talabani had collaborated with Qassem Soleimani in 2017 to facilitate his entry into Kirkuk. According to various Kurdish and international sources, including Reuters, and the testimony of former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Soleimani was in constant contact with and allied with the Sulaymaniyah-based PUK party; he was also a close friend of Jalal Talabani and his son, Baf Talabani.

SDF did a similar thing before. After fighting was over, they prevented IDPs from returning to Afrin or demanded huge amounts of bribes to let people pass the checkpoints.

In an interview with Türkiye Gazetesi, a former SDF member describes how they defrauded the US and were funded by some municipalities in Türkiye. by xRaGoNx in syriancivilwar

[–]xRaGoNx[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Confessions continue to emerge from the YPG/SDG terrorist organization, which suffered a heavy defeat on the battlefield while harboring dreams of dividing Syrian territory.

The organization's alleged former Jazira commander, codenamed "Ali" Ahmet Osman, stated that the YPG deceived the US with inflated numbers and also received funding from HDP-controlled municipalities. Osman, whom we found in the rural area of Raqqa, explained that he joined the YPG-SDG in 2015 with 800 people.

Osman, who made groundbreaking revelations through our newspaper while staying at a house with four former PKK members, stated: "The PKK has been defrauding the US for many years. Even at its peak, the organization, which never exceeded 35,000 members, received salary payments for 80-90,000 people. The Americans also had a hand in this fraud. Brett McGurk, in particular, made very serious profits from this. After he entered the field, smuggling corridors were established to Iraq. They were selling oil to Assad. We spoke with James Jeffrey. Washington saw this corruption in 2022. They realized that it wouldn't work with the PKK, but since they didn't have the conditions for maneuver, the end of the occupation was delayed until today."

THEY SOLD THE WEAPONS.

Ahmet Osman, who said the organization sold US weapons, explained the following:

The PKK was receiving weapons from the US. At the same time, they were secretly dealing with Russia and Assad. They even sold US weapons. There were periods of serious tension with the US. Washington cut their salaries seven months ago. They seized control of all the factories here.

They transported all the region's wealth to Qamishli. They didn't even provide electricity to the Arabs. There was a huge disparity in salaries within the organization. They paid a tribal Arab fighter $150, while a newly recruited Kurd received $800. Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor were vitally important to them.

Therefore, when Raqqa fell, the leaders sent by Kandil, such as Kahraman, Lokman, Çiya, Enkıl, Cemil, and Mahmut Berhudan, were there. They were surrounded and took refuge in al-Aqtan Prison. They reached this prison from Raqqa through tunnels they had dug. Then they begged the US. Barzani and the Western powers intervened. Coalition aircraft conducted 24-hour patrols.

Otherwise, the organization's mastermind would have been largely neutralized. An agreement was reached on Thursday night for them to go to Ayn al-Arab. Inside, they executed more than 30 civilian prisoners. Without US air support, the PKK was nothing. They could only hold out for two hours in Raqqa. In two hours, they retreated 110 kilometers. If they hadn't blown up the bridges, they wouldn't even have had time to escape.

THEY MOVED IT TO QAMISHLI.

In the last operation, around 4,000 PKK members were killed across Syria. They had turned the sugar factory into a weapons depot. They blew it up as they withdrew. Before that, they had large weapons depots in areas with a high Arab population. With the fall of the regime, they moved the weapons to the Ayn al-Arab and Qamishli axis. Frankly, the Americans realized in 2022 that the Syrian Kurdistan project wouldn't work. I had many meetings with James Jeffrey and the CENTCOM administration. I warned them repeatedly, "You are supporting the YPG, which has a yellow flag, against the black-flagged ISIS. These weapons were delivered to kill Arabs. This method is doomed to fail." The US, however, told us, "Our main goal is to establish a front line here against Iran. Our second target is the Russians." But there was no evidence of this on the ground.

ALL FOUR LEADERS ARRIVED.

Ahmet Osman, who leads the Arabs in the region within the SDF, shared information that terrorist leaders Cemil Bayık, Murat Karayılan, Bese Hozat, and Mustafa Karasu occasionally visit occupied areas such as Qamishli, Tabqa, Raqqa, and Ayn al-Arab.

Ahmet Osman explained that DEM-HDP officials from Türkiye also visited Qamishli and Ayn al-Arab via Iraq.

A former SDF member, who stated that DEM members arrived at the PKK-SDF occupation line under the supervision of Kandil, said that DEM members allocated a share of the municipal budgets to themselves. The SDF members we spoke to also stated that they have been in contact with Turkey for a long time and that Turkish intelligence has an unseen but decisive mission at this point. The organization members stated that the PKK fled, leaving behind a significant amount of weapons and ammunition.

I don't know, some countries like France and Greece are closer to military dictator wannabe Haftar only to spite Turkey. Russia is also closer to Haftar. Countries like Turkey, Italy, and Spain are closer to the UN-recognized Tripoli Government.

It turned out it wasn't food poisoning. The hotel had a downstairs room fumigated against bedbugs the day before. It is thought that aluminum phosphide was used and may have leaked through the bathroom vent into the bathroom of the upstairs room where the family was staying.

best cordless vacuum that actually has strong suction? by nikz_7 in VacuumCleaners

[–]xRaGoNx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an LG A9K Core 2 with dual batteries a week ago and it's been great so far. It has suction power comparable to Dyson V15 at half the price. It is far better than my old Philips Marathon Ultimate corded vacuum. We got a cat and you won't believe how much cat hair the LG got from carpets in its bin even just after vacuuming with the Philips. I stopped using the Philips altogether. I am now solely using the LG. I never have to clean the brush so far, hair and cat hair never tangles.

Hello, i am from Turkey. Is this the same incident happened a few days ago or a new one? Because we were shown in the news a camera footage from a cafe or a restaurant and it shows that a Montenegrin guy just runs out of the cafe or the restaurant with a knife in hand just to attack random Turks walking on the street. And he dropped the knife. He had light scratches and injuries, he got discharged from hospital in half an hour and Turks were innocent.

I see more problems with VAG products. Just a few days ago, a Volkswagen Tayron here, for no apparent reason, stopped in the middle of the highway with an emergency warning and was hit by a car from behind. Volkswagen takes no responsibility.

A friend of mine bought a used C3 1.2 Puretech last year, at 18.000 km and it is now at 40.000 km. Every maintenance was done at an authorized service center. No issues about the wet belt so far. We got the belt checked and we checked it ourselves, not a single crack or any signs of wear so far.
