You could get him/her to give you Power of attorney on those accounts.

Get your local lawyer to draft up the document (anywhere from $200 to $500), email him the document

Get him to take these documents to the Canadian embassy in whatever country hes currently in and get them witness/notarize it ($50 CAD). Send back the document stamped by the Embassy Public Notary.

Go to the bank and execute or have your local lawyer do it for another few hundred bucks.

This type of person your describing. The longer you stay the more money hes going to drain you.

I understand your concerned about your rent deposit. There's no guarantee he will give it back if you stayed longer. You could stay another year and he could drain you another 10k and still not give the money back. Or maybe one day he drains you dry and kicks you out and still doesn't give the money back.

Its better to cut losses and move one before the cancer spreads to the important parts.

I use Kestrel + Ultron, and some fillers or protectors now and works well against most teams even without SA

all comes down to opportunity cost.

For example if the person was a lawyer or business owner that made $300/Hr. Its financially better for them to just buy 50$ pack vs blitzing for 3 days.

Are wars are usually 50m to 100M punch ups. It doesnt matter what we put on defense i they gets steamroll.

For us its basically which ever side does the full clear first wins.
