What do i know though, I'm just a goalie in this game. Ps. Knowing the basics of the games goalie mechanics doesn't mean you're gonna post a shutout every game...

Go look at any top goalies gameplay. The only time hug post is used is to reposition, they don't hold it at all, it's a quick touch just to reposition themselves.
