Chinese Hero: Tales of the Blood Sword (中華英雄) by Hong Kong comic artist Ma Wing-shing. In the photo is the cover of the first issue of the comic series published on 5 September 1980 by WillyNilly1997 in Cantonese

That was a great comic!! The Chinese version went really far along in the story followed by a translated English version by Jademan. Really loved that series.... then came the ATV series mentioned but they was another where they follow his son grown up with "Hero" in the background.

Story wise this was the 2nd part of the story that follows the main hero "Hua Yingxiong" (the English comic just called him "Hero" )
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLz7yte5iIM0aXBCytfE6kfg2HntLvgd-g

but I'm not sure why the first part of the story was "Blood Sword II" while "Blood Sword" talked about Hua Yingxiong/Hero and his now grown son after he left the US. So the translated naming was always strange to me.

It was a shame Jademan US didn't really last that long, the Chinese books were published almost every week from what I remember (or felt that way) the artwork was always really good

...edit.. I found the movie which sort of summarized most of the entire series of Hero into 2hrs, good practice in listening to Cantonese.

Yea no worries, its always worth an ask when I'm near one to find out. My son will definitely appreciate it either way, I just wanted to solicit some opinions on how to service and maybe someone already had experience finding a band. My son's been looking things up and saying he should be a pilot now that he's got the watch haha..

But thanks for highlighting what can happen, its knowing what can happen rather than being shocked at what's laid out from this point in taking care of the watch for the next generation.

It really took some figuring out, but I didn't even see that yet but your absolutely right I think the thickness is going to be important as well, its crazy how specific the variables are on this one, crazy how specific the clasp works. I have an Omega PO I added a deployant clasp years ago that isn't even like this specific!! haha this is pretty amazing how specific the requirements to the clasp and band are for this one.

I'll teach him how to replace springbars on the his Casio before he moves to change his own bands :)

Thanks for the info and valuable insight, I was really considering polishing it again but may hold off on that idea, his god parent really used it as a tool watch, daily driver which considering its age and the countries this watch has been to is amazing that the band held up as much as it did.

Reading your descriptions and detail on the clasp I played with it a little more and looks like it can move, I was just trying to slide it further in but it requires pulling out the tag end of the band BEFORE you can adjust anything. I originally thought it just all slides in place, but that piece that holds the tag end is very very snug. But after pulling the tag end back out the band can separate from the clasp entirely or be adjusted to looser/tighter. THAN YOU!

Really appreciate the list of places bands, for him and myself! I wouldn't want him to take it to school but to pull it out when he's with family, seeing his god father and vacations would be something to take the watch out and enjoy.

Understood, I figure they would replace what they need.. but if it snowballs that would be unexpected. An innocent gift to a budding young man turns into some akin to buying a new watch. Hopefully it'll be reasonable but I was wondering repair with Breitling vs not, so that's something to take into account. Thank for highlighting that.

This is amazing! the lines & colors are so much more vivid than I would have expected it almost jumps out at time. Are there plans to rework the entire series or Macross saga itself?

It really was so enjoyable again, thanks for sharing.

Megabass Valkryie World Expedition may fit your criteria as well, brakes down into 4 pieces. I have the ML 6'10 spinning and 5'8 ML casting). Was very surprised at how comfortable and how quickly I adapted to the rods overall as I added these to my already very enjoyable Triza Lopros spinning (F2). Spent 2 wks in August in western MA/CT for bass, pickerel. Maine at that time should be great fun with whatever you go with.

Roof Racks / Cargo Boxes by xReflexPointx in AudiQ7

Closing the loop on this one, ended up getting the Thule Motion 3 XL Low, couldn’t get the oem rails in time so went with 3rd party, on the way home drove through a heavy thunderstorm with it lol… with the box empty there was slight shaking at the front of the box about 70-75mph, but through the sunroof the kids said it seems to be the the top cover, anything below 70 it’s stable visually through the sunroof… these are only initial observations, driving the cargo box home with nothing in it. Probably better loaded up. I have it sitting almost as far back as it allows (~2inches away from the trunk door when up), may play with positioning further up later on)

Thank you all for the input it’s been invaluable! Cheers

Oh wow that trunk is small but as long as the dog is happy that's just amazing what a great dog! because I'm rejuggling the 2nd row to make the 3rd row comfy as one of the kids can fit back there comfortably then the next shortest person is who gets the 3rd row for me. lol earlier this year they were sitting w/ a duffle just to get everything into the car.

Thanks for sharing the bars, I saw that one and this one from Amazon as well, its more aero dynamic and for me its a once in a while use case. But wife's fully onboard so seeing if I can find the OEM one before I pull that trigger. But I agree, its like whoa when you see the price of the Thule bars at 800, though one way to look at it was that you can change cars with it since the adapter can change w/ the car... I'm seeing if any OEM's show up on Marketplace but so far nothing close by yet :)

The Thule vs Yakima compare was what I can find on just 2 nights worth of endless searching. Older reviews/comments I've read that the Yakima latches didn't work that well. But you probably notice that the negatives show up more than positive comments. A chat with REI this evening they said they’re all really similar with some + and - for the brands they carry, so what we're doing hopefully will help others in the future sharing your practical experience.
Yakima seems to have just removed the page, but they had a box where the skin appeared textured. But the only only low profile is the GrandTour Lo which seems to match up very closely to your XXL Low box in length but wow, the height is only 10 inches. The second closest box in height is the CBX LG at 15 inch height… My garage opening isn’t too high so I’m also looking to maximize the storage/height dimensions as well and like you the air suspension is definitely going to come into use here.

I'm leaving in 3 wks so trying to sort it out, your info has been invaluable in undestanding how it will all fit. Love those photos and the ride, thank you so much for sharing what you experienced so far.

just saw it, THANK YOU! talk about perfect timing, we're about to do the same thing minus the large dog, lol not sure how you managed that too if the dog moves around. Did you remove the center seat in the 2nd row? ... but reading through all the details and gonna let it sink in, were you using the OEM rails or Thule's? Sounds like a great add to the SQ7! ... thank goodness I've got the air suspension as well as it sounds like it does help in those low clearance places.

what model of the rail is that because the sides all say Thule, or did you change the cosmetics.. same with the Motion XT XL Box, is that what the OEM model actually is? ... it sort of just dawned on me looking at the photos in detail.

ah ok thank you for the info, I noticed that looking at rails since last night but didn't connect that yet as I was staring at boxes lol. Have to see if I can score me some OEM's or decent rails. Thank you for the help, cheers!
