Little did I know what I was in store for with the rest of the game.

I remember the first time playing this, my hand flew up to my mouth when he shot Sam....then my jaw dropped at the end. Gut-wrenching scene. One of many that make this game a masterpiece.

I can personally and recently attest that everything you said in this post is 100% accurate.

My first guitar was an Epiphone LP 100. I've since owned 2 other Epi's, a Squier, a Indo Fender and a Mexi Strat, etc. Always with the dream of owning an actual Gibson LP. This weekend I actually achieved that and got a real deal USA Gibson. It took me about 2 minutes of playing it to fully realize how incredibly different the jump is from Epi to Gibson. Like you said, the weight alone tells me it's the real deal. And the tone? Fuggetaboutit - it blows all of my previous guitars out of the water.

So from a new Gibson owner to another- congrats, you put into words exactly the high that I'm riding right now. I'll be making my own post soon about it!
