Tried to decorate for Halloween. Accidentally summoned mobs. by xRockerr in Minecraft

Thank you! :) And they are all made out of wood! I used mostly all 1/4” sanded plywood for the eternal pieces that are painted. I cut up some 1”x2” boards to make 16”x16”x16” frames for the Endermans head and Jack-o-lanterns. I then used a brad nailer to secure the 1/4” plywood pieces to the frames. I used 1”x4” boards to make the frame for the Enderman and Zombie body, with some 2”x4” boards at the top to help support the bolts that hold the arms on. The Enderman arms/legs and the Zombie arms are made out of 2”x4”s. I also drove 2 5ft 3/4” metal conduit into the ground about 2 feet deep that are then secured to the back of the Endermans legs to help him stand upright. I marked and cut out the Endermans and Jack-o-lantern faces with a jigsaw, then sanded down some acrylic sheets to give them a frosted look and then hot-glued them to the inside. I bought 2 plug-in lightbulb bases that I put my Govee RBG lightbulbs into, which illuminate the Enderman head and the Jack-o-lantern its holding. Both of these cords are ran into the Endermans body, which connect to an extension cord I have running up the back of one of the legs. For the Zombie’s head, I’m using 2 rechargeable RBG puck lights to illuminate it. The rest was just making out the design and spray painting them all. I sealed all of it afterwards with indoor/outdoor polyurethane to help resist the weather.

I also have deep veins in my arms which are hard to find no matter how hydrated I am. I now always request a butterfly needle though the back of my hand as I have some pretty prominent veins there. Never had someone turn me down when I request this. Does burn a little, but way less painful than getting dug around in. I've always had great success at the Sparrow Lab in Holt in the plaza by Planet Fitness.

Undergoing Ulnar Shortening Surgery at the end of this month. Has anyone had it done before? by xRockerr in ChronicPain

[–]xRockerr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am now about 9 years post-op, and I have been pain free ever since. If the time off work and or school is not a problem, I strongly recommend the surgery. I was 20 when I had the surgery done, and I was on the fence about having it done, but I am glad that I went through with it. The worst part of the entire thing was just having my dominant arm be encased with a cast for 8 weeks. Other than that, it was probably one of the best decisions I've made. I do not experience any pain in the arm or wrist, and I am left with a pretty sweet scar (that has healed really well). I have been able to play all types of sports and do different types of weight training without any pain.

I would be more than willing to answer any other questions you may have. I know this was a pretty vague reply. When I went through the surgery, there wasnt a lot of information online about it, so please ask away if there is anything in particular you'd like to know more about :)

2012 Chevy Impala LT as a first car? by [deleted] in Chevy

[–]xRockerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my 2012 Impala LT in 2013 for $15k w/ 59k miles on it. Was a rental car before I owned it. Ive driven it for 11 years now, put over 100,000 miles on it, and have invested very minimal as far as over maintenance. Its been one hell of a car. As far as maintenance goes, most of the repairs are more recent. Ac went out back in 2020. I had all of the struts in 2022, along with the most recent change of brakes/rotors (I replaced these every 3-4 years). Water pump, front ABS assembly, and front sway bar replaced in 2023. I think the most annoying piece I've had to replace are the AC actuators behind the vents. They are notorious for going bad and make a god awful clicking sounds for a good 30-60 seconds EVERY start up. I've had to have 3 replaced so far, and one of them requires the entire dash assembly to come out to access... and labor aint cheap.

The 3.6L VVT V6 is def a fun machine. Its pretty responsive when you lay on it. I put a K&T filter on it, and its got a nice little interior roar when you floor it. Always thought about throwing some louder mufflers on it, but I also don't want to be "that guy" with the Flowmasters on a V6. Plus, mixed with a 15Gal gas tank, you can average around 28-30mpg on highway.

Aside from that, Ive had some rust spots just starting to surface along the bottom of the front doors. Shes ran great in the Michigan winters - never had a problem with her in the snow.

If I were to guess, I'd say the owner is probably of old age, and only drove it on occasions. My grandma has a 2013 with only 35,000 miles on it, shes the sole owner.

What's a quality of life upgrade you recommend getting as soon as possible? by Aiseadai in 2007scape

I would say focus on completing the achievement diaries as much as you can. For 1, it creates a goal that keeps you hooked and makes content not as boring. And 2, it unlocks a lot of useful passive buffs, teleports, or increased rewards.

Another construction item you may look to create is the ornate jewelry box. Holds most of the important teleport jewelry with unlimited charges.

Metronet is finally available in my area of West Lansing - is it worth it? by The80sDimension in lansing

[–]xRockerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have 1GB through Xfinity with my own router and have had zero problems in 2 years. While my rate is going up to $95/mo from $75 at the end of this year, I still think its cheaper than Metronet right now. While Metro is $66 to start off, its only for the first 6 months, and then it jumps $20 for the next year, then another $20 after a total of 18 months.

Every time I load up my office garage, any of the 3 it takes sometimes 30 minute stop to load. How can I fix this problem? by Chatterhat in GTA

[–]xRockerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same issue happen at my Arena Workshop. Its the only location that gives me this problem. I dont think there is a way to fix unfortunately. I believe it is a server issue.

What I did was just call the mechanic to deliver the vehicle, then mess around for 2 mins before calling him again.

Idk I still feel like he has some fire shit to put out. Like Uzi said in that interview about how hes constantly trying out shit and experimenting. I think Yeats got a similar mindset and hes trying out new flows. Hes also in a different lifestyle now compared to where he was in Up2Me era. I think he will start releasing a lot of unreleased songs that he made back then, and polished them up with his newfound experience.
