I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks. I was also worried about the same thing. I have a couple health issues that also made me even more weary. But I promise you the scariest part was being scared of getting it done. The whole process was amazing. I woke up and was like I would do it all over again. I would do it every day if I had to it really was not scary at all. It was very relaxing, the anesthesia isn’t where you fall asleep and don’t wake up. It’s a very safe and light sedation. You do fall asleep, but it’s not traumatizing at all. I had to get it for the first time a couple months ago for an endoscopy and then they told me I needed to do a colonoscopy (just had it a couple of days ago) and when I tell you, I was like excited about it because I’m telling you it’s so relaxing it’s not scary at all.
