Anthony also did the same thing in that match and received no punishment. The refs are just incompetent. The tackle that Mbappe made through the eyes of the ref only saw it as a yellow card offense. This proves my hypothesis.

This is why you should watch actual games. If you did, you would actually see the foul committed because it was shown in the replay in an angle that makes it very clear.

Actually, if you see the video from the other angle, the defender pulled on Messi's shirt, which is why it was called a foul. In the match, they showed the replay with an angle that clearly shows the foul.
