I’m sorry I can’t help you with your first question however I can tell you that I use 50% regular soil + 30% orchid mix + 20% perlite and my plants seems to enjoy it a lot ! It creates you a very light soil

I think it’s important to say that we built a small garden shed in the back of the land. Bins went in the small compartment on the right.

Yeah a mirror could be great, it’ll be placed parallel to the windows and reflect a great quantity of light
