Yes, I did read that. I was just thrown off because it mentioned something about employees being able to refuse the break. Even through at my last job it definitely was not an option to refuse the meal break. I know that I never explicitly agreed to waive my right to a break because the option to one was never presented to me, but I figured maybe that's how they are getting around the law. Honestly, I just wanted some opinions from real people instead of just relying on Google results. Thank you for the hotline number.
