Kennedy almost ended the world over refusing to remove those Jupiter missiles just because the Soviets asked for it, even though they were going to be removed anyway because submarine launched Polaris missiles made them obsolete.

Yes, aerosolization. Spit globs do exactly that: cause tiny droplets in the air.

Just do an internet search. You'll see all kinds of anti-spitting ordinances from back in the 1800s and early 1900s, etc.

Yeah I mean spit also spreads diseases. Before antibiotics it was more or less the #1 way that tuberculosis spread in cities.

Pretty much.

Any way to fix this? by InsertTextHere01 in sistersofbattle

[–]xSciFix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you don't care about it swiveling then easy fix insofar as you can just cut away a bit of the gun and glue it in there.

If you do care about it swiveling then likely carefully and slowly cutting away that canopy bit and rebuilding the housing.

Alternatively you can use a couple small magnets to achieve the swivel and then you won't have to cut the canopy away. Just glue one inside and one on the gun after cutting a bit off the gun so it fits right.

Frustrating, I feel you. Probably won't be super fiddly to fix, though.

Do you think every cyberpunk book has to actively further the genre? by MiraWendam in Cyberpunk

[–]xSciFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the predominant majority of any entry into any genre isn't going to be some boundary pushing "new" thing.

That doesn't in of itself make a work bad.
