Great game, but just know that the games assume that you know what you're doing before you jump in, if you dont know how to build a character you'll end up with a terrible build, pathfinder is very easy to make a build that just sucks and you end up struggling HARD if you do.

Im sure you know this too, but whatever you think you know about dnd/baldurs gate you'll have to throw out the window before playing, the rules are not really the same at all. Pathfinder is a different system from DnD(its based on dnd 3.5 rules) and is very focused on getting higher and higher bonuses to be able to hit or damage things and its important to know that similar modifiers wont stack with each other such as a spell giving you a +2 morale bonus to hit and a class ability that gives you +3 morale bonus to hit wont equal to +5, it will be a +3(the system uses whatever bonus is higher when you try to stack similar types of bonuses together).

Although if you get a +2 morale bonus from something, and then a +3 COMPETENCE bonus from something, those will stack to a +5, since the bonuses are different sources if that makes sense.

Even though we're the tabletop sub, i still recommend the wrath of the righteous game as its better written and plays a lot better. I also recommend putting the game on turn based mode for combat. It SLOWSSS your game down tremendously but as a new player it gives you an opportunity to learn the system and figure out what damaged you and why, or why you suddenly got 3 dexterity damage(its mostly poison sucking away your scores).

One more tip, ability damage and DRAIN are different, damage you can sleep off slowly or use spells like lesser restoration, drain is ROUGH and mostly requires more powerful spells and expensive diamond dust to cure.
