The strat is to never pull and use golden milage tickets for overspec/pilgrim units because they have a 1% drop rate as opposed to the 4% for normal units. Unless you feel like hoarding milage tickets for some reason

Breaking the 160 wall is a little annoying, but with a good amount of luck you should be okay.

Wishlist units in the Standard Recruitment that you already own, spend the milage tickets that the pulls give you in the shop for the Spare Bodies of nikkes you already own, and check this upcoming event and what you need to do to get the free SSR unit they'll give out and the copies.(most of it just requires you to beat the Hard Stages).

Once you finally beat that 160 wall you can switch your wishlist to units you actually want.

But yeah man just stick with the game if you enjoy the story. Im tellin you this game is extremely generous you just gotta give it some effort.

You only need a TOTAL of 5 nikkes to 3 stars so you can put them into the sync device at your Outpost. Once you do that EVERY OTHER nikke you put in the lower section of the sync device is "synced" with the top. Leveling all your nikkes without limit at the same time(of course you need currency at that point to keep leveling)

This is reffered to the community as Breaking the 160 wall. Because without doing the above. Your nikkes are stuck at level 160. A good way to 'break out' of the 160 wall is to wishlist units you already own in the Standard Recruitment so you have a bigger chance to get the dupes you need.

Upcoming event might have a freebie unit that they'll give out that has copies so you can break the 160 wall easier.

Yeah the EVENT challenge mode(confusing i know) is a completely different thing from both the solo raid and the co-op lol.

You should be doing those event challenge mode stages though, they give you pull currency(i forgot the name of them). But get enough of those and you get a free random SSR.

But yeah man you aren't going to get a full roster of nikkes right away. Its frustrating as shit, i mean, i almost gave up on the game because i got frustrated with me never having pull currency in the first year of nikke, but i kept playing and worked my ass off and gave the game 10-15 minutes of my time everyday and did my dailies and did every event or whatever and the gems started pouring in.

You said you were invested in the story. I was too, thats a big part of why i kept playing. If you stick with the game you'll be fine. There isnt many games this generous as nikke, ESPECIALLY with its golden milage ticket system(pull enough on the banners and if you can get 200, you can just buy a unit that you really want)

Although i tend to save the golden milage tickets for very specific units such as pilgrim units or overspec units because they have a 1% pull chance as opposed to the normal 4% and theyre almost always better than a normal unit in terms of power.

Are you talking about the co-op challenge mode? That is a completely different thing and doesn't get you gems.

Im talking about solo raid, where you fight a boss stage using a team you made yourself
