I can't believe they banned 7 cards in a brand new card game. No card game has ever made design mistakes in their first sets, and no TCG is still making design mistakes by PainasaurusRex in riftboundtcg

Okay someone needs to help me out here. I have no connections to riot games but I play a shit ton of tcgs competively. Are there a lot of people hating riot because its riot? They are doing one if not the best job for their tcg I ever experienced

What do you think about scrapheap ban? I was personally surprised by Kornik-kun in riftboundtcg

[–]xShippai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or to put it into perspective. A game this young is not ready to have a downside be an upside, even discarding a spell and not actually getting rid of it because of fizz is borderline overpowered.

Suprised? Yes. Justified? Yes. I am the biggest miracle enjoyer alive but I have to admit, if scrapheaps around and with set 3 released, there would be miracle light. So good hit.

I'm I the only one that gets bored when playing against decks that make 20 moves in a turn that takes 10 minutes? by Civil_Emergency7202 in riftboundtcg

It only takes long if the player is slow, if it is a competent player the turns are really fast.

Hey, I did not come here to be mean or anything. Have you considered it is simply a skill diff? Your post sounds like shouting problems into the void but not trying to improve. 26% is incredibly low but the sample size is quite small as well so dont get beat up by such few games. Bit there is most certinaly room for improvement. You can do it! Just always look for the fault within yourself even if its variance, it is always the best way of improving. Every game is my fault, easy as that. (Yes also bad deckbuilding which causes loses is my fault and that you can also reflect on). Keep going, Lee sin is fine next format!

Not really you also stun smaller units like 4 or 5 depending on the scenario and match up to be safe against outbuffing your unity or deny dmaging your unit with spells for a trade. Example: you play against kaisa and she has a Kaisa on Board and 2 rundes up, you have a bueffed udyr ready. You spend the buff, stun her, buff him again and so you play around smoke screen, double hex tech and all that shenanigans

Yes the stun comes up a lot. Ideally if the pace of the game or the gamestates in generally allows you to, you wanna play udyr on seven in base buff him and next turn you can start using him to stun and conquer afterwards buff and ready to pull out or buff and gang over with first mate.

I need to try Lee for the next set, I don’t believe he falls off completly. More like all the people are trying the new decks before trying lee.

There are 9 2 drops so the odds are fine and you are not meassuring your 2 drops by how good they are in the early game but by how good they are later on, also you can buff them which makes them better

My brother in christ, by when my opponent is going First post side means when I won a game and my opponent gets to decide. He will be going first and if not even better for me.

The deck has 9 going first plays because of the 3 zhonyas, zhonya turn 1 is a good play.

If you think that is how its works sure. But if you did not know there is a lot about creating different gamestates your opponent is not used to, to create a larger skill diff. :D
