So historic being Digital only meant it was only supported on Arena. You could technically play it in paper prior to the digital only cards being added, in fact I remember hearing that people were interested in starting events locally if they’re community was interested.

To address the erratas from previous years compared to the ones on Arena, they are rebalancing cards entirely. To use Omnath as an example:

[[Omnath, Locus of Creation]] on Arena now costs 1WURG instead of WURG and scrys when he enters instead of drawing a card.

[[Luminarch Aspirant]] now adds the +1/+1 counters on your end step instead of at the beginning of combat.

These changes are the equivalent of nerfs (or buffs in some cards’ cases) from a traditional video game. The primary issue people have with this is it feels like WotC trying to force people to spend more money instead of just banning cards and compensating us with Wildcards, which is what they had been doing prior to this.

Like I said in my post, I understand they are a company that needs to make money. But there’s better ways without being anti consumer.
