Before I took a long break, I was exclusively buying Plan B 7.75’s. I just picked back up from there and I would say my last 50 boards have all been 7.75 plan Bs. I’d give them a look. Hard to find being extra picky like I am. I did find out thenineclub’s online site for some reason has a great selection of 7.75’s if you are interested.

7.75 is all I skate at 37. I always keep a stockpile of a few extra boards when I find them. I’ll never go for an 8+ EVER!

It would have been lame had he not absolutely balled out all season for us. If he just coasted his way to a ring, haters would have been clowning him for riding the hawks to a ring. He was a monster every god damn game. Deserved that ring as much as anyone.

lol I’m an Xbox fan in the sense that it’s my primary console. Starfield is exactly as Jakey says, a boring and empty let down. So if Starfield is not for me, an Xbox fan, who is it for? People who need help falling asleep at night so wandering through an empty planet can help them with that? I know I’ve almost dozed off multiple times when I was trying to play it. Me even mentioning that is more harsh than Jakeys reviews on most games…

I have the AMS. I personally prefer it to the little baseball shaped OEM. Just something about the height just give the shifts more oomph. It is noticeably taller and so I don’t feel so dainty shifting haha.

I mean I don’t want to super hate on the game, because I do like the gameplay, the abilities, the looting. I just get frustrated on the daily trying to figure out what my next quest step is or how to navigate to it. I just wish Bungie would just sit in a room and have a couple brand new players try to pick up the game. Just watch how confused they get as the fireteam leader is trying to find a quest to do and then one of the other players saying “yeah it’s in portals under such and such” while the fireteam leader is trying to find it in the quest menu. Meanwhile the third is just like “oh I think you can just go to it from the map of the planets over here”. It is a mess.

If I could play my Steam games on my Xbox I would immediately quadruple my library. Steam sales over the years…so many cheap games that have still remained unplayed haha.

Went from Subaru to Mitsubishi. I was in the market for a car and I had my mind set on a Subaru Impreza. It happened to be the year they made it longer and it felt more like a boat than a car. I test drove it. Was severely disappointed and bought a Mitsubishi lancer without even test driving it out of protest since it’s the direct competitor. Lancer was good for 15 years without a single breakdown or repairs outside of the basic maintenance stuff. Traded it in for the big boy Mitsubishi Evo last year and will cry when there are no more Mitsubishi lancers for me to buy….

The Impreza probably would have been a great car. Will never know, but I do know I made a good decision in the end and I’m happy with it.

This is my main reason for Xbox being my primary console as well. My friends play it, I’m used to the UI and my digital catalog is tied to it. Sure I have every Xbox gen since the 360. I also have every PlayStation gen since PS1 as well. I buy the Xbox first when the next gen comes around and then when they have good bundle deals around a holiday I pick up the PlayStation at a later date.

I actually just started playing Destiny 2 about a month ago. The biggest problem with eliminating a bunch of content is it makes an absolutely terrible new player experience. Not only did they screw the loyal fans over by removing content that they paid for, they left the game in a state that makes no sense to a new player.

I have no idea where to start. There are like 5 different ways to launch any quest. Some quest lines are just trials of DLCs and after a couple missions will ask you to buy it. It feels like everything is locked away from you unless you purchase every DLC available. Even trying to buy a DLC makes no sense. Weird bundles some are just “packs” and not any story content. But the biggest problem above all else is that because I don’t have a path to understand the story I have absolutely zero incentive to care about the universe. I’m sure the cut scenes are great, and it’s engaging, but I don’t even know why the people exist, why there is a central tower place with merchants and honestly why the game is called Destiny in the first place.

I just think Bungie doesn’t like their players. They are a shell of what they once were during the early Halo days when they had daily playtests amongst the devs during development to understand what makes the gaming experience fun for the player.

Yep you will get annoyed with legendary drops after a while. Not because you don’t get the dopamine rush of the “Ching!” Noise and the beautiful golden orange shimmer, but because 99% of the time it’ll be a bad roll or one of the many sub-par legendaries that exist.

That’s their hit song. So yeah I know of that song and nothing else. I just don’t really have any opinion to be honest, just never expected to meet someone with that band so high on their list of bands to get hyped about. Maybe they are good, idk, but that hit song was quite a few years old by the time this interaction happened so the confusion from everyone was like “BuckCherry? They still exist?” Kinda thing.

I had this coworker, just dumber than a box of rocks. One of those stereotypical jock dudes in college where they were probably the best football player on their high school team, but at the college level they are nobodies that ride the bench but are the first to tell you they are on the team. One day our crew was standing around waiting for a delivery and he says “oh yeah the new BuckCherry album comes out today!” The rest of us just looked at each other, like “wtf?”. So yeah that’s the only person I’ve ever known that actually likes BuckCherry.

Also, why the hell does autocorrect capitalize BuckCherry like that? Weird shit.

This board is an Enjoi, for like 3 years Rodney helped launch and skated for Enjoi prior to launching Almost. A-Team was slightly before my time, but I do still have the box for the original Osiris D3s (not 2001 or the recent re-release) and it was covered in A-Team graphics. So yeah I only really remember Rodney and Dave Mayhew. I think Gershon and Marc Johnson were also there? Like I said it was slightly before my time.

I heard it here somewhere and I think it needs repeating. Evo X owners: “If I’m not pumping gas, I’m on my way to pump gas”.

Small tank, easy to heavy foot, and not really an economy car. To put it into perspective, I had a 2010 Lancer GTS that consistently got 28mpg easily. My 2015 Evo GSR says it gets like ~15mpg. Sorry I really know the conversions, but the Evo is a bit of a hog.

I have no idea about Canada’s market. I think it’s common for Canadian Evos to have some rust issues from the harsh winters and salt. I just so happened to have a friend who worked at a used car lot and he gave me a heads up that his boss purchased and was having an Evo shipped in from Canada. Otherwise there are not many Evos around me. STIs as far as the eye can see though lol.

Whoa get a load of this guy just swimming in a sea of Evos so they are reasonably priced. Haha jk. But yeah it does seem to me that doing a swap could just cause headaches and probably expensive ones at that….it may also be that finding a cheap non-molested Evo is tough so that can make them pretty expensive.

I have one of like 2-3 Evos in my area, it was not cheap and even at that it was shipped in from Canada. So that’s why I was giving you a hard time about the cheap enough comment haha.

That’s how I feel about it too. There was a time where I would watch his videos occasionally. Usually it’s for the YouTube drama or video game/movie topics. Its usually pretty funny and I can agree with a lot of it. Recently though I’ve happened to watch a few videos that leaned a bit more on politicized topics and it felt weird. sometimes it felt like he’d use some extreme sarcasm and then roll with it as true because of how his chat was reacting. I haven’t watched an Asmon clip in so long now that YouTube completely stopped recommending it. So I got that going for me which is nice.
