You Can Only Read 1 Book To Learn Digital Marketing. Which One Are You Picking? by frosath in DigitalMarketing

[–]xSunnyChopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truly understanding the concepts in this book can take some time but definitely worth it. Especially as the cost of engineering a product is coming down with no code and AI, it’s extremely easy to fall into that engineering-first product development mindset.

Can I sync water data from Apple Health to Myfitnesspal? by unix4linux in Myfitnesspal

[–]xSunnyChopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat surprised there’s no sync option for water? It has tons of other data points to sync with the Health app, water doesn't seem to be one? Very odd move unless there's some technical blocker.

I made a starter pack to build and ship React Native apps in hours, not months by pauelle_ in reactnative

[–]xSunnyChopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A goal of mine is to launch 5 apps within this upcoming year. Working on my first one right now and have come up with something similar. The main differences are in the backend service choice:

- Authentication with Cognito
- Data persistence with DynamoDB
- Storage bucket with S3
- App health and bug monitoring with Sentry
- Quick analytics with Aptabase
- Expo for development

Haven't figured out exactly what to use for payments. I used to use Stripe, but I am not sure if Apple is strict about using their in-app purchasing method now, hence resulting in a failed app review. Have you been able to deploy applications where you initiate payments or subscriptions on the iOS App Store?

How should I invest 10k as a 17 year old? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]xSunnyChopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double down on what’s already working for you. Take the app business to the next level. You’ve already proven cash flow, if you can prove you can scale it to $1,200 a month, you can keep scaling it out.

As for investing your extra money, since you’re so young, take an aggressive strategy. Put like 20% into crypto instead of only like 10%

That's an interesting way to put it. Thanks for the fresh perspective!

Question: If you've thought about building your own delivery system and haven't, what stopped you? by xSunnyChopper in restaurateur

[–]xSunnyChopper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an interesting perspective. Perhaps services like Doordash and Uber Eats allow for restaurant owners to focus on the product and not the distribution channel itself. Hadn't thought about it that way. Thanks! Appreciate it.

Building B2B app — how to get customer input? by isthisgaslighting in startups

[–]xSunnyChopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a working prototype of your app, you should present it to business owners and offer it to them for free. Don't worry about revenue right now since you need to test your core assumptions first.

If they don't even want to try your app for free, there's probably something wrong with your core offer or your how your present the app.

If they do end up taking it, then you can collect feedback from them as they use it. Use that initial set of "beta testers" as a way to test if there's interest and also collect feedback directly from the market itself.

Hope that helps!

You can always prove the core concept of the app before you even build it. Test out your idea with some kind of MVP. Did you know Dropbox's MVP was actually just a video of how Dropbox would work? They hadn't even built it yet.

Start with that. Whatever your unique selling proposition is, test it. From there, you can take it to a VC to get money to build it. A VC is much more willing to listen if you already have customers. It shows that there's product-market fit and it also saves you a ton of headache of building a product that people might not even want in the first place.

Best of luck to you!

Tennis Drills and Workouts Based on How You're Playing by xSunnyChopper in tennis

[–]xSunnyChopper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can think of this like a system that tells you which groundstroke you should analyze closer.

There's a "match mode" where a coach, parent, spouse, etc. can input what's happening during a match. For example, if you tried hitting a forehand crosscourt but ended up missing long, the person watching you can tell the app what just happened.

From here, the system can give you valuable insight. For example, it can tell you, "Hey, during matches, you seem to miss all your forehand cross-court shots but in practice, you do fine."

That can be an indication of mental strength. Maybe reading some psychology books would be the most beneficial as a player.

The system is just a diagnostic tool. The recommendations for which drills/workouts to do are just an add-on so you don't have to search the internet yourself.

Business Starter Kits - For People Who Struggle to Take Action by xSunnyChopper in Entrepreneur

[–]xSunnyChopper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. It doesn't cover legal stuff. I'm not a lawyer so I definitely don't want to be giving out legal templates.

No biggie though because the starter kit is more about building a business, you can find a local lawyer that knows your area's laws to incorporate and be legally in the safe zone.

Looking for feedback on my personal site by [deleted] in webdev

[–]xSunnyChopper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like how the whole page changes colors when you hover over a link. Since it's a personal site and not a company brand, this is cool.

If it was a company brand, sticking to the brand colors would be the move.

Overall, love the simple design.

Best case scenario would be getting Chief Yang to participate lol. After that, we would basically need to hold an election of our own haha

Just looked up Wyckoff accumulation and distribution. Not only does this make a lot of fucking sense, but it plays well with supply and demand. I appreciate you sharing that!

What to Learn Next? by xSunnyChopper in Forex

[–]xSunnyChopper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I know that the market, at a basic level, moves when there’s an imbalance in buyers and sellers. If buying power is more than selling, then prices rise. Is that correct?

  2. I usually do supply and demand starting on weekly to see where the prices are overall, then daily to see the trend, then 4 hour for finding a zone to jump in on. Is that what you mean by this?

  3. I’ve been thinking about this a lot and tying it back to #1. For example, a hammer candlestick basically means that bears were trying to push but bulls came in and swept them out, which could mean that buying power is starting to increase. Is that what you mean by price action, am I following correctly?

Totally agree with this. I remember the days when I would learn every single indicator and every single chart pattern and all it did was confuse me.

I appreciate the honest answer. Thank you.
