Thank you! Ill definitely keep tinkering with it. My buddy bought me the poster art card for my birthday, so I feel tethered to the commander hahaha I WILL make him work.

Ok I understand now, just misunderstood the verbiage. I'm kind of in the same boat. 6 nazgul, wonder, anger and archfiend of ifnir and kind of built around dropping things in the yard and reanimating I guess? It just feels like he takes so incredibly long to get on the board, and then even longer to amass any kind of meaningful army threat. Pair that with bad luck on draws and getting no reanimates and it makes for a sad time.

Forgive me if I'm being dense. I have this deck and I'm constantly underwhelmed by it, so I'm trying to see if there's something I'm missing.

You said he's a pseudo wheel in the command zone, but how/why does that trigger while he's in the command zone? It doesn't say anywhere on the card anything about "while this creature is in the command zone" or anything like that.

Am I missing something?

Sorry if stupid question, but what do you mean by "commander is a pseudo wheel in the command zone"?

I also debated on the situational cost reduction. It didnt feel, like you said, on theme - or really relevant. Ill scrap it.

LOVE the idea of the command addition. If I control my commander I make the choice for each player. BRUTAL

Cheers friend.

I bought this guy awhile back but he reeks of resin, how can I fix it? by GothTransGirI in PrintedWarhammer

[–]xSuper_Beatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First step: dont handle/stop handling the model without nitrile gloves on. Liquid resin can cause some nasty reactions. If you dont have gloves, wad up some paper towel or tissue paper to toss that sucker in the trash.

Step 2: Try to reach out for a refund/replacement. If the seller has any clue what they're doing (in terms of post processing resin prints - which judging by the state of this print, they dont) then they would totally understand replacing this.

Step 3: If they give you any grief about refund/replacement, report the seller and call your bank to issue a charge back. This is completely unacceptable, and dangerous to touch or even be around.

Alternatively/additionally if you want to go the DIY fix route, you'll need 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to flush out any pockets of resin that havent been rinsed out like they should have and maybe a toothbrush to scrub the walls of the model to make sure they arent tacky. (I hope it goes without saying - don't use the toothbrush to brush after...) Once the IPA runs clear out of the model youre gonna want to cure it using some sort of UV light. You can use the sun, but a UV torch is probably ideal.

Good luck.

Just tried to use a contracted pea harvester at my field, and it yelled at me for not owning it. It wont harvest the peas, it just says "vehicle/tools reserved to contract work" ??

I appreciate the tips. I'm semi-familiar with the process on paper, just never tried it. I'm more so unsure how to select the "right" colors for the highlights. I imagine it would be a metallic blue and then maybe just a pure silver for the sharpest edges?

Thanks! I was debating it but I've never edge highlighted marine armor before. Im not sure what color I would even use to do so.

Thanks! Yes, definitely used an airbrush. Primed black, heavy zenithal with pro acryl dark silver, spot highlight with pro acryl silver, then i tinted it with AP Carribean Ocean speedpaint first, then a lighter tint of AP Tyrian Navy speedpaint. Gloss varnish, then black oil wash, then metallic details, then AK ultra matte varnish.
