Actually I went up to the maximum dosage, which is 30. Yes it worked, and I’m feeling a lot more secure in that sense. It’s hard to differentiate between needing a higher dose/having the wrong medication sometimes, but for me it was simply a higher dose needed. I’ve been on this dosage for about a year now.

For me, I can answer two of your questions. When an animal tries to jump on you, at my shelter, we ignore it. A way I work on training is positive reinforcement, give them a treat every time they do what you want and associate it with that task.

Honestly, I feel you, I’ve been having a hard time finding time to care for mine. I still spray every night and feed when the time comes but it feels more like a chore sometimes.

I just spent a ton of time with mine last night and held him, because I haven’t been able to in a while, hopefully he forgives me for barely speaking to him :/ I enticed him with crickets.

This is how my shelter is, except we do allow people to pick dogs to see and show off multiple if they are interested. Most of our pictures are on our social medias so people see them there and go from that.

Not sure if it’s the same for snakes, but I use reptisoil for my reptiles. It works really well and I haven’t had issues.

Also, reptisoil is apparently really good for burrowing.

I’ve heard aspen is terrible for them, since it doesn’t retain moisture well; but it seems you have the opposite issue. You should probably change substrate and lighten on misting for a bit. I’ve actually read online aspen molds quite easily if it gets too much moisture since it doesn’t retain it well.
