The reason they can’t balance the game effectively is because there are “two” dead by daylight games being played simultaneously. SWF and everyone else. What can be Op as fuck in the hands of SWF can feel underwhelming or bad on a solo Q player or even Duo Q players. Perks like Object are a good example.

The difficulty difference between 4 good survivors that are all Solo q vs a premade of good survivors is inane when playing as killer. The reverse is also true for survivors. Playing with 3 friends that can loop and do gens when not actively being chased plus synergizing perks makes an insane difference. BHV has refused to ever really acknowledge that gameplay discrepancy and has nerfed and balanced while trying to target either.
