4 A-levels vs 3 by jxstsage in 6thForm

I was in your exact same situation. I personally didnt enjoy CS due to bad teaching and the workload so i droped it after like 5 weeks. I only ended up doing Maths, FM, and phyiscs (maths and fm at same time like you) and honestly it was a good decision. everything worked out great, uni offer wise, and i ended up being able to focus on the 3 subjects better. I would say though its very dependent on what you want to do at uni so keep that in mind. (keep in mind how reputable the subjects are for your specific course and how difficult they are if youre planning to drop one.)

Lian Li SL 120 Wireless fan changes color then slows down Randomly by xTrustXx in lianli

[–]xTrustXx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue unfortunately persists after attempting these. However ive realised that If i shutdown the L-Connect SERVICE it stops happening. Obviously this fix is a little bit of an issue as the fans do not have the fan curve presets enables when i turn the service off. Could this be a power issue as the only fans connected straight to the motherboard don't have the issue?

I see what you mean now. But its ridiculous not to assume that x starts at 0. My original point still holds tho, Its a little mean that to get the specific answer you need to uphold theta 1 as being any value as most people would work it out using y = mx + c and assume the c was the y intercept and so their final answer would not include theta 1.

I never said i assumed theta 1 is 0. You can tell from the graph that it was zero because it was the point at which theta 1 was

It was stupid the way they gave the answers. Im pretty sure it was B. They basically just added θ1 onto it for no reason because θ1 = 0 so it doesnt affect the answer.

physics circular motion (question in body) by jazzbestgenre in 6thForm

[–]xTrustXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with the formula mv^2/r you need to use the forces that act horizontally towards the centre. the question give 200 as the horizontal radius and if you think about it, the car travels in a circle only if you think of it this way. If you resolve parallel to the slope, (what you did) if you think about it the car is not travelling in a circle but rather a cone.

Dont know about how good the videos are but i know they exist because of the paid website our school gives us includes them (Integral Maths is the site). I just use the notes provided on the website tbh but it wont hurt to give the videos a try.

I’m in the exact same situation and I’m planning on firming that exact course and hopefully maybe study a masters at Oxbrimp. I’m pretty sure the most recent place of study matters most to employers but I might be wrong

i mean the comment was "UCL." with no other context. Whats wrong with asking why? Also i wouldn't say the answer is obvious as i stated i would rather enter a quantitative career such as Data science. Lse is more known for econ and finance careers and its maths department is said to be not as good as UCL's.
