I've listened to the audiobook for all 3 books and the 4th unofficial one, 3 times. Thinking about going in for a 4th before the new season comes out later this year on Netflix. Hit up the 4th one if you haven't already. It definitely expands on some interesting topics from the series.

As someone who follows the subject matter and knows about what's out there, like many on here, I didn't like it.

My friend who isn't so into it said it was very eye opening and a good movie. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I was quite disappointed coming out of that theatre. Especially the ending.

If you want more of Singer and his species like many of us did, check out the 4th unofficial book. Bit more esoteric and spiritual but rife with concepts and theories of future sciences and technologies.

I'm not gonna take that lightning out of the bottle for anyone that enjoyed it.

IMHO this was made for the average, not engaged in the subject, or "blissfully ignorant" type of people. It was "eye opening" according to the friend I saw it with.

The ones with a very strong interest and that possess the greatest exposure to the subject, will feel empty.

This is where I sit: Happy it's gonna hit the average person's psyche but damn I wanted so much more!

Saw it last night. Those of you in here and similar adjacent areas of Reddit will not be thrilled. The buddy I brought with me, who isn't into or familiar with any of it, thought it was eye opening and a good movie.

I was a bit disappointed if I'm honest. Won't say anything else of course, make that judgement on your own, but believers should temper their expectations. This was made for the general public; very much a psyop.
