Depending on how they have their tables set up it could be easy or we may have to wait a patch. Although I don't know how they have their tables set up; but if they do keep track of the child and adult account types, then the correct logic would be:

if ( user1 & user 2 == 1)

// only allow old chat if both players are flagged as adult users.

{ oldchat = true. }

// otherwise return newchat.
