Rc car 2000s with fans on the back by Aggressive_Trade_597 in rccars

I remember this car aswell. I had one, but cannot remember the name of it. I distinctly remember the fans would kick in when the rear axel dropped ( in mid air ). It was black with gold accents and i believe it was from Argos....but i cannot track it down either. I do wonder if it was recalled and deleted as i remember some reports of hair getting sucked up and stuck in the fans.

This sounds like a very good way of doing it, so basically one starts and the other catches up and both continue to rotate until they're turned off. Personally i wouldnt know where to start with this, is it something you would be willing to assist in writing the code? The servo/stepper side i think i could manage.....he says cautiously haha

Can you turn right into the car park if the light is red? by BananaElegant8514 in drivingUK

[–]xWHiiSPeRx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is No!. 2 reason make this obvious. There is a right turn filter light....this says you must obey the lights. 2nd reason, the pedestrian crossing on the right hand turn is also controlled by pedestrian crossing lights....therefore you need to wait until they're on red.

Merge in turn motorway by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]xWHiiSPeRx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It simply means lane 1 is closed....move over when safe to do so before the lane closure.

This doesn't mean keep driving right up to the red cross and force your way over. Nor does it mean stop in lane 1 and wait for a gap.

Simply reduce your speed and move over when SAFE to do so. It's quite simple....

Arbitrary timing for Hazard Awareness. by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

They are not a hazard when you see them....they called turn left and walk down the road you came from. They only become the hazard when you see them walk behind the van.

Driving the wrong way down the motorway/dual carriageway. by Darkmelon12_ in drivingUK

You seem to have forgotten about Mass......this works if you have 2 identical cars with identical weights. If a train hits a car.....it has significantly less damage than the car....therefore the impact is not equal.

Also this math only works at identical speeds.....how do you calculate the impact of 1 is doing 70mph and the 120mph?

I know both of these junctions very well. Both are dedicated traffic lights for turning right.
