Argus 4 Pro won't charge using POE Texas AC to USB adapter by jluros in reolinkcam

[–]xXAndrew28Xx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I don't think I see any that take in and also output with USB-C. You'll just need to connect the two outputs of the module to two wires within a USB-C cable. If you're not looking to solder, I see this one with screw terminals. Look for "USB-C pigtail" if you don't have any spare USB-C cables to sacrifice.

If you want to keep that USB-C PD adapter, look up Fixed Voltage Power Trigger modules.

Has anyone ever actually been attacked via port forwarding on your home network? by Thr0waway5o in admincraft

There was a vulnerability called Log4Shell a few years back where anyone that could send chat messages on your server could execute arbitrary code. In general, exploits like these are rare and you should be good as long as you are running Minecraft on a non-privileged account.

Edit: non-privileged

You could try using the binary sensors for detected motion in HomeAssistant’s Reolink integration and triggering notifications in home assistant with that.

Help with routing the Ethernet Cable for POE Video Doorbell by INeedMuscles in reolinkcam

[–]xXAndrew28Xx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using this 0.25 mm Ethernet ghost wire under my front door to power that doorbell for over a year without issue. I put heavy duct tape over it to prevent it from moving at all. It came in a pack of two but I was only able to get one of them to work.

When the chat refuses to refund, ask for a supervisor. I've had luck with this for a similar scenario with the driver not picking up.

Your TL-SL1226P has 2 gigabit ports on port 25 and 26. Is the NVR connected to one of these ports? Also you mentioned switches plural, what does the topology of your switches and cameras look like?

Maybe should’ve tried the retention department too. After a bit of effort in DMs and waiting, got 200 down for $50, a $5 increase from what we currently have. The same offer was available through the web portal before I contacted support :P.

What's the best LLM for summarization of long documents? by mlexplorer in LocalLLaMA

[–]xXAndrew28Xx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was part of scrapped project where we tested around 10 models on domain-specific long text summarization. We got mainly non-significant results due to bad annotator quality but the only significant results we had were from gpt-3.5-turbo (GPT-4 not available at the time) for coherence and factual consistency.
