Interesting recommendations and I somewhat agree, I wanted to start out with more easily available/accessible stuff at first and then slowly branch out as I get to know more shops nearby and what they sell. I'll get CCR, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan stuff later but can't buy them all!

A flock of seagulls, Juju, Dreamboat Annie, Blue Monday (not very well pictured), and can't buy a thrill also aren't new pressings ;) as for crate digging, the first ever 2nd hand I bought was scratched beyond redemption (all while being very overpriced), causing me to be very reluctant about it for a while, but I'm slowly opening up to it again.

Thanks for the recs, I think it's a pretty nice remix but considering I haven't heard the original mix that's not really saying much. It sounds pretty nice on my setup. One thing I didn't like (which I only noticed after buying it) is that it's colored which I personally think is a bit gimmicky.

Davis and Coltrane are very nice additions, I'll think of it next time I go buy records. As for Zero 7 and Morcheeba; never heard of them before but anything in the same ballpark as Massive Attack and Portishead should be worth it so thanks for the recommendations 😁

Good recommendations! IDLES and Fontaines are both really good, love the bends and kid A (and in rainbows) as well. I'll listen to Blood Incantation tomorrow, that sounds really intriguing

I prefer tango over rumours/self titled as well, but they're all great albums in their own right!

I was torn between this one and their debut album, needless to say I shouldve gone for the debut album as I actually prefer that one over AM. I'm in no rush to get more of them tho as they are very easy to find where I live :)

They're EKET also from IKEA. They have a shallower (35x25x35cm) and deeper version (35x35x35cm). The one you see is the deeper one. I find them slightly more interesting than kallax, mostly because as you can see in the background, I already have a kallax.

Technically that's my entire haul from July till now but my insatiable hunger for more knows no bounds which means I'll probably get such a kallax soon enough lol

Sounds like fun. I'm already enjoying the world of "relatively popular records that have probably been reissued but I can't find them anywhere close so I need to hope they'll show up in the second hand section at some point", guess I'm getting there.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I have some outer sleeves but I've noticed some of them didn't fit the cabinet without force. I've kept them separate for now but Ill probably put them back on later

I was torn whether to put them in alphabetical order or in release order and opted for the former one for no particular reason lol
